It makes perfect sense for me, for the url to say /onemonth as the 8th clips drops, which itself could very well be a trailer or some sort of promo for the album. Some info, ie. the artwork and tracklisting perhaps. And of course a clip of Heavy in the background assuming we'll hit 8 clips before the two rumored release dates. Cap this if you want.
So, not oneblood then? Personally I'd be really excited if it said onemonth, because then we have a concrete date to await and get hyped for. I'm really excited that the band is embracing the poppier side on this album. My favorite LP is pop-influenced LP.
im actually hoping its just one month till the album comes out, however it was still someones idea to say "hey lets release a video every few days and add a letter to a URL on the website so it spells out "one month", then fans will know the release date". Why not just tell us the release date and play the URL game with us to reveal the album title or something else that reveals the art work.
It could still be an anagram. Imagine "/onemon" after 6 videos and it turns out to be "Fenomeno" in reverse.
Fuck yes, this is what I needed to hear. This reflects what Mike said last year about wanting to keep experimenting; I'm glad that they still feel that way. Hell, I'd settle for 5 minute songs. LP have only hit that mark five times, and every time it's been a highlight for me (I guess out of the five, ALITS would be the only one I'm not crazy about). If this album contains a few longer songs on it (THP wasn't bad in this regard, to be fair), I'd be very, very happy. If there were songs over 6/7 minutes, I'd be over the moon. Totally agree. ATS and MTM are my two favourite LP albums for exactly that reason, and I'm excited to see what they can bring to the table now that they seem to have dropped going for a highly specific goal sound wise. I feel the back end of LT had that, but a lot of the album as a whole was made less engaging IMO by swamping the songs with big electric guitars and confining most of them to a 3:30, ABABCB structure with little variation.

I can agree with this but it depends on what kind of pop. If it's in the realm of MTM, then that's awesome and I'm all in. If they're on some BID shit then I'll pass haha.
Yeah, remember guys and girls, pop can come in many forms. Numb is by most definitions a pop song. But so is Shadow of the Day, New Divide, Burn it Down and Waiting for the End. Yet none of those songs really sound like each other. That's the beauty of music, labels and descriptions do not encapsulate it fully. They also clearly said they wanted to experiment and do crazy stuff, so... Expect the unexpected And even if "Heavy" sounds like a top 20 hit, the rest of the album can go in so many other directions. I find it funny that I have to remind myself and other fans of this every time Linkin Park drop a new album, lol. ALSO: One Month is secretly the album title, because it is a concept record going through ONE MONTH of a person's life.
I Will expect a more mainstream sound. Like Electronic merged with Trap and R&B songs, beautiful lyrics, kinda young anthems, more intimate and relaxed vibe! I'm excited and cant wait to hear the final product!
