Cover Art Revealed for Linkin Park's New Album

The Living Things sequel we all wanted.

 

MTM will be turning 10 this year. Coincidence? I dont think so.

 

I am very pleased with this album cover. It's so colorful and vibrant, and FINALLY NOT JUST GREY, WHITE, AND BLACK!!! \(*-*)/
As for the title, I just hope it isnt a self titled, cuz i know Mike and crew are better at naming things

 

Remember, they are the ones who came up with Frat Party at the Pankake Festival.

Is the sun rising or setting? Cos maybe that has significance for either new beginnings, or an ending for their music career.

Living Things and The Hunting Party are so lame titles. I'm ashamed of them.

Poor widdle Matt. He isn't getting another nu-metal album from LP he so craved.

 

This is for sure their best album cover by far.

 

No i actually wanted a full hip hop album, or a jazz mixed country album.

 

I actually like The Hunting Party as a title, a million times better than Carnivores, which was a possible one. I think Meteora and Living Things are the weakest titles.

 

It's funny how some of you guys say this looks kinda nostalgic, because this really screams my childhood, I lived near the beach when I was younger and always went there with my family and friends. This cover portraits it perfectly and that's why I love it.

 

I agree, Meteora would definitely be in my bottom three, but I still prefer it to The Hunting Party and especially Living Things. Definitely hoping that LP7 can top those three; I know the guys always claim to be bad at naming things (and they're not wrong ), but Hybrid Theory, Minutes to Midnight, and A Thousand Suns are genuinely good titles IMO.

 

Not much to say that hasn't already been said.. I dig it. I like where this is going
