Just heard that short Kiiara clip. Her voice sounds decent to me, it's mainly the style I can't get into. Is she using some sort of "accent", or is that how her actual voice always sounds? I'm also hoping that there will be minimal (preferably no) auto-tune in "Heavy". There's just something really great about hearing people's natural voices, rather than multiple layers of processing over someone's voice.

Edit: According to Kiiara's Wikipedia page, it says that her greatest influences musically are Linkin Park and Eminem, along with others. It now makes sense why she would want to collaborate with LP, even if just for one song.

While I am anticipating the release of "Heavy", I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at all nervous about it. Not being an enthusiast of current pop music has caused me to not look forward to LP7 as much as I would typically look forward to a new LP album. Perhaps this will be the album that actually gets me into pop/mainstream, if it is interesting enough.

As for the lead single, it could go either way at this point with fan and mainstream reception.

Again, passive aggressive. You won't respond to points. It's all condescension. You speak of empathy but you're not listening nor seek clarification before making bogus associations. I'm not here to fight. I'm here to defend myself from personal attacks. You and I both know i'm not attacking depressed people. I'm onto your act. Now you seem to be retreating.

 

I asked you to think about how your post might be interpreted in the way that several people other than me have interpreted it instead of placing all the blame on the people reading it that way. That ain't passive aggressive.

That doesn't mean I'm saying you actually were saying what those people read it as. That means that there's reason within that post for people to interpret it that way, and that in order to prevent similar misunderstandings with your posts in the future you should understand where this came from before lashing out at people for reading it that way.

 

The others responded reasonably. You personally attacked me and said I'm calling depressed people immature. Do you honestly believe that in your heart? That's the passive aggressiveness i'm referring to. I responded and said ask for clarification before publicly attacking people. I dislike people who misconstrue words and respond with cynicism.
