One More Light sounds like a great album title. This song seems like it's going to sound like the most pop-y thing LP has done so far, which I wouldn't mind. As long as it sounds good and is pleasant to listen to, I'm all for good music. I'm curious to see if Brad takes a more "production" role again. Personally wouldn't mind seeing guitars used in a more atmospheric way as opposed to being in the forefront of the song(s)
Neither did the other ones when they were first revealed. Either Living Things/ATS did this, from what I remember.
Back to this board after so long! SO HYPED for this single. Huge fan of Kiiara, she's a great vocalist and a great producer. Her style is just really unique and I'm glad she's going to gain A LOT more exposure because of this single. Loving the overall feel of things, including the album cover and the album title. Very refreshing! I love how this band always reinvents themselves. I personally feel like this album is going to be ATS level good. Time will tell. Judging by the end of the clip, that's exactly how they've used guitars in the song.
Yeah that's what I thought. Just listened to it again and I can definitely here guitar. I do agree about the fact that I really can't hear Phoenix's base which is disappointing but maybe its more noticeable in the full version. I would certainly like to see Joe, Brad and Phoenix doing more in these making of videos in terms of instruments but hey who knows, there might be some sick guitar solos from Brad on this album
LP has always made POP music i mean in the end, crawling, numb, somewhere i belong, what ive done, leave out all the rest, new divide, Joe and dave are still in the band?
I love this band so much. When I heard this it almost dropped a tear. It's unbelievable how much these guys have affected my life all these years. I just love them, and always will. Bring it on Linkin Park.
LP is touring with all these metal bands this year. i cant even imagine them playing soft songs from this album to a metal audience. That means they wont be playing alot of new songs from the new album like they dont with every album cycle.
But didn't you just say you wanted to listen to Meteors and HT all album cycle long? Because what you just wrote is basically HT and Meteora.
Linkin Park might be making an impact on pop radio again: http://headlineplanet.com/home/2017...amed-hot-pick-pop-stations-chicago-nashville/
I can relate to Hybrid theory and meteora more than anything else LP has wrote. Ht and meteora isnt all relationship, its inner turmoil, and frustration about personal problems in life. People listen to what they can relate to and what they like.
I think ATS didn't (but it doesn't in the first place) and LT featured the text on the cover and THIRD Derek shot down the idea already.
