The next track length from One More Light has been revealed in an iTunes listing that seems to have put track 4 at a length of 3:36. 'Battle Symphony' is the only other track to be updated at the time of writing with additional track length information. Could this be the next song to be released from One More Light? We're not sure. It's quite random and curious as to why this has been listed and not other tracks though. We'll keep you updated if more information becomes available. Source: iTunes
I really hope there atleast a couple of songs with greater length than the usual pop songs. We'll see. This probably means that a new song is on its way out soon, can't wait!
Oooh interesting. I would ideally want a couple tracks that are closer to the 5-6 minute mark, but then again tracks like Numb are short and still amazing. Won't let a track length detract from its potential quality
Guy on Linkin Park Coalition on VK claiming Battle symphony will be out on the 16th, and something about Invisible on the 19th. https://m.vk.com/lp_coalition
From past experiences (in general) its likely that this is indeed the next single. I dunno if theres a specific day for that, but we should expect a radio premiere soon.
Okay so for me this is very surprising, the 1st thing I thought of when I read the song title was that it's an interlude...but okkaayyyyy!! Anyone remember that default instrumental by the similar title present in Microsoft Windows xp,7?
What do you mean? We only know two track times, lol. Unless you meant the potential of songs being instrumentals? In which case the chance is zero as Mike Shinoda said in our interview that all song titles are lyrics from the songs.
I think it will be released soon. Chester quoted in an interview that people who have pre-ordered the album will get the tracks first. I've done it already. Hoping for it to come out soon.
As far as I know the songwriters and collabs for every other song are known by now. I'm saying on that basis Its very clear that except Sharp Edges now most of the songs details are known. 1 Nobody Can Save Me Jon Green 2 Good Goodbye Heavy rapping by Mike as told by Chester 3 Talking To Myself Performed 4 Battle Symphony Confirmed today 5 Invisible Justin Parker 6 Heavy Released 7 Sorry For Now Goldstein and Tyler Musto 8 Halfway Right Part of lyrics confirmed by Mike 9 One More Light Performed 10 Sharp Edges UNKNOWN Moreover its highly unlikely that Battle Symphony will be an instrumental with a 3:36 timestamp
The track title is mysterious enough. I hope we can be pleasantly surprised. Also, good to know the track is closer to the 4-minute mark, Heavy is so short. That fansite has been posting bullshit consistently since we were speculating the album name and release dates. Gotta see it to believe it. Also, LP Ambassadors are supposed to receive the proper information (LPA is one of them).
I'm 99% sure One More Light is over 4 minutes though! The chorus is very long (36 seconds) + it has also a long post-chorus/lead (22 seconds). so when we assumed that the chorus will be repeted 3 times (36×3 =1 min 48s!)+ lead 2 times (22×2 =44 s)+ maybe an intro with 20 seconds and maybe a long outro a la TLTGYA with 1 minute + 2 verses.... Sorry but i'm VERY BORED!
This song was the one that got me curious just because of the title. Next week should be an interesting week since it'll be a month since 'Heavy' released which means we will mostly get a promotional single.
So I just made a quick comparison and Battle Symphony's length is right between In the End (3:35) and Final Masquerade (3:37) .. I am totally fine with that. Definitely not too short.
