Does that mean we'll hear a Stormzy inspired track too? That'd be fire. Big for Your Boots is the shit
I like what the band did there...assuming that is indeed the second song to be released from the album. *debuts Invisible for LPU* *plays Talking To Myself & One More Light for WBR people* *just kidding next song is Battle Symphony*
Calm down. Anyway, Looking forward to hearing something new. The snippet of Sorry For Now and the clips of OML/Talking To Myself sound great. Weird how Heavy is being considered the "core" song but the vibe on the other songs feels different.
Don't worry, that means that Sharp Edges is actually smooth jazz and Halfway Right is... still Halfway Right.
Well no shit you know what its gonna sound like with 8 teasers. But a month before the song released we had nothing to go off of besides expecting a more pop record. Even if you ignore just the last preview (which I did), the final product that we got, as a whole, was widely unexpected and uncharted for the band.
Well of course we didn't know exactly what the album/single would sound like a month from release, with that logic every possible direction would have been "widely unexpected". I'd argue that given the little information we had (studio photos with mostly pop artists, electronic/pop driven spotify playlists put up by the band, etc.), a 3 minute, softer electronic-pop driven song with a trademark LP chorus and lyrics about "holding on" would have been one of the safer guesses for the new single.
Um... what? You literally only made one point in your comment, and I addressed that specifically. I'm not sure you even read mine. But yes, keep making snarky remarks instead of actually trying to contribute positively to the discussion.
I don't know what I'm more disappointed in, the bickering or the petty name-calling and under-the-breath talking. ...
