Linkin Park Facebook Live Event 'Up Close with Chester & Mike' Streaming Today From Amsterdam

    Update: Mike and Chester performed four songs on piano in total but only streamed the first two.

    01. Burn It Down
    02. Heavy
    03. Crawling
    04. What I've Done

    Today (March 24th) Linkin Park have begun a press tour across Europe and the first stop is Amsterdam, Netherlands. Fans this week were entering in to win tickets to attend a special event 'Up Close with Chester and Mike' taking place in Amsterdam today. Linkin Park announced last night that they will be live streaming to Facebook today as well.

    8AM PST | 11AM EST | 3PM GMT | 4PM CET​

    Reports and deleted Facebook posts suggest that there will be a fan Q&A session followed by an acoustic performance happening at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The event is being streamed at 4PM CET. Linkin Park are scheduled to perform another similar event in Paris on March 27th.

    I won tickets via LPU. I am in the train on my way to Amsterdam right now. Hopefully they play a new song!

    They will perform some new stuff. I'm guessing it'll be One More Light, Talking to Myself.

    They just ended it. >_>
    I guess they wont stream the new songs.

    I thought that was Chester's best performance of Heavy. That first "holding on" was perfect. I heard that and I was like "yeah his voice is feelin good today"

    Chester's voice is sounding a lot better than it did in during the Hunting Party's cycle.

    Of all the songs to choose from they play BID. What about In Pieces? Powerless? So many better songs.

    Also, that version of Heavy made me think the song should have had backing vocals at the end like

    "(I know I'm not the center of the universe)Why is everything so heavy?"

    "(I know I'm not the center of the universe)Why is everything so heavy?....."

    Just sounds so much cooler.

    Edit: BID was just ok, but 'Heavy' was great! Chester kill it :fedora:

    That was so anticlimactic. That wasn't even 30 minutes.

    Because Burn it Down was their last "big" song and it's relatively recent. It was huge when it was out, hell people kept playing it back in 2012. I'd rather see them perform that than Crawling again imo lol

    I honestly just watched them being interviewed instead of the actual music. I've heard BID enough in this lifetime.

    That's most likely due to the fact that he isn't screaming on OML. So many vocalists who regularly scream on their songs tend to blow their voices and damage their vocal cords. It might sound cool on the record, but it's really bad for you in the long run.

    According to someone I asked earlier they didn't even play any new songs.
