Read the Full Article at ESPN The UFC have announced a new acquisition to their roster with the signing of Dave 'Phoenix' Farrell, a fighter looking to make his debut into the world of Mixed Martial Arts this Summer for the UFC. Farrell based in Los Angeles, CA has been working with the Cesar Gracie Fight Team and training with the likes of Nick and Nate Diaz to work on his striking and grappling over the past year. Taking his Linkin Park persona 'Phoenix' into the Octagon is a transition Farrell says he's ready and prepared for. "It was time" says Phoenix, "The true Linkin Park fans have noticed the bass being less prominent in our most recent music. The smart fans know it's not real bass." At this moment Farrell pulls out his smart phone to show us the tweets he's been receiving "Fuck you @phoenixlp. Heavyy isnt heavy weres the bass lol" says one disgruntled fan. It's obvious this mentality has taken a toll on the Grammy Award winning artist. "I tried golf, I love golf but it just wasn't an outlet for the anger I felt when I looked at Twitter, Facebook and YouTube comments. I needed to punch something and UFC is an outlet for that". Farrell has been around the sport for a long time and has occasionally hinted at training for a possible transition into MMA. Farrell has also been to a number of events over the years which put him in contact with UFC President Dana White who actually inked the deal earlier this week. "I called 'em" says White, "I fucking called 'em. I asked him, I said "do you wanna be a fuckin' fighter or a goof?!" This ain't bass playing. A bass ain't gonna hit you back, but Dave said he wanted it so I gave it to 'em!". Farrell is looking to make his debut later this Summer with a yet unannounced opponent possibly in the Welterweight or Lightweight division. However this doesn't mean the end for Linkin Park according to Farrell "Linkin Park is always going to come first." Farrell then demonstrates this by stating he will be making his first walk to the Octagon to the Meteora anthem Easier to Run. "I love music and I love my fans and you can guarantee after driving my brand new Mercedes AMG with the unparalleled grip of those 19" AMG 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels... erm, where was I? Oh yeah, it's time for something new and I'm ready to enter the Octagon later this year". ----------------- This is a bit of a shock and came out of nowhere. It's hard to beat their Trojan condom tie-up but DYINGG HAHAHAHA AND THAT ESPN SITE WOW HOW LONG DID THAT TAKE Thanks guys this has been the best. <3
Golf would have been more believable. Also you can take out your anger with golf clubs and golf balls. You can cause some real damage and wreck a lot of shit.
Golf has already done a few years ago, if I remember correctly. Good job guys, ESPN site looks legit!
Haha very good. Never gonna fall for this though. You ain't making your debut in the Octagon as a 40+ millionaire with no proper combat sports background.
