Linkin Park invited a myriad of other artists to contribute to their upcoming studio album "One More Light", but the band members have also been lending their talents to other musical projects: Theprp.com reports that Chester Bennington has recently been working on new music with Lamb Of God's Mark Morton and the band's current producer Josh Wilbur. An Instagram story was reportedly published which showed the artists in the studio together but is no longer available to view. Bennington and Morton are now teasing the collaboration on Twitter, with the former revealing that the track(s) he appears on will feature his trademark screaming, while Morton exclaims that the music they've worked on sounds "KILLER". Fans of Linkin Park's more aggressive music in particular can probably expect to enjoy what's coming. Source: Theprp.com
I can dig Lamb of God, sometimes I certainly hope it wont be one of those collab being teased and then never released.
Should be interesting. Although, he doesn't need to scream just for something to be heavier. Looking forward to it.
Chester doesn't tend to scream on tracks that he features on, and given OML's poppier vibe I'm really looking forward to this one. I don't listen to Lamb Of God but this should be dope.
If you think about it, this is almost kind of like how LP unveiled a house track with Steve Aoki after releasing "The Hunting Party", but flipped.
I don't listen regularly, but I saw Lamb of God live and it was spectacular. This could end up being the heaviest thing Chester's been on lol, which would be dope.
I could be wrong but I feel like Chester still wants to scream. I feel like Mike pushed the direction of OML where as I feel Chester would enjoy doing a THP pt. 2 That's just a vibe I get
It could just be a thing where he's stepped away from those aggressive vocals long enough that it feels good to return
Its a fact that Chester loves to scream, he said it in an interview a couple of years ago he never gets tired of it. I mean Chester has to be one of the best screamers of this generation. I think LP is afraid to release anything heavy with screams as singles because of reasons i mean look at THP singles, the non heavy songs were singles. LP hasnt released a heavy single since Given up and before that since Meteora I could be wrong anyone can correct me if I am.
Label not approving it which is a dumb reason im just throwing it out there, not radio friendly, very little success. Rock/Metal music is just not big anymore. Everything is Pop/Hip hop now
