NBA has gotta stop using Battle Symphony for some of their promotional videos for the playoffs. It just doesn't work. It baffles me why they don't use upbeat hip hop songs that you'd hear during a team's warm up or something.

I agree. They really should've used "Good Goodbye", IMO, if it had to be a new LP song

"Mark the Graves" should have been THP opener, as intended.

The track is one of THP's best, but its position in the tracklist is bad. It's too slow-paced. Also, Chester screams are not surprising when you've heard them one thousand times before.

As an opener, it'd have been a great progressive starter. Believe me, KTTK is on steroids when played right after "Mark the Graves".

Mark the Graves is probably my favourite LP song and thank you for comment (before and after editing: "It really makes the whole thingy [album] drags"). I agree with you. This is such an underrated song.

Strange correlation here, but for me it seems that Chester's songwriting is kind of a song-ruiner  I wonder if that pattern will continue with the rest of the album.

It's kind of fun if you have some spare time to look at the Wikipedia pages for some of the writers and producers on this album.

I found that Jesse Shatkin who wrote on Good Goodbye and I believe co-produced Invisible (maybe? Might be Sorry For Now) also co-wrote and co-produced on my other favorite band, Tegan and Sara's newest album. Coincidentally they also recently made a major switch to pop music from guitar-heavy indie.

They're mainstream pop writers, except maybe Keenan Leary who produce & co-write for Melanie Martinez, more Alternative/Indie pop and btw she's great and her album Cry Baby is fantastic :)

I heard! I remember Melanie Martinez from The Voice . Interesting to see what the other songwriters' inputs are to OML.

Speaking of great Mike vocals, I wonder when Martin Garrix will release this song. It's been a few years :/

    Yes :)

I just received a email from Ticketmaster saying that I get a album (cd or digital) with my ticket? To my knowledge I got a normal (not any of the experience tickets) for the Toronto show during the presale. Anyone else get one of these emails?

Kinda wish we had bonus tracks. That's why I loved MTM and ATS having at least one bonus track.

I like that "Minutes To Midnight" simply had a B-side for a bonus track. We haven't had one of those from the band since then

Yeah, I did. I think it said anyone that buys tickets gets the album. I already pre-ordered the album during the presale so I could move up in line (but turns out that didn't even matter), so I guess those that did that can get 2 copies of the album? I don't need another copy, so I probably won't bother.

It seems the guy exaggerated a bit because although Chester did say those words I think they came out harsher than it was intended. Yes, HT came out like 17 years ago and there are so many people who want that sound and have been whining for months, it's all over facebook and youtube. When you constantly read sth like that it must go on your nerves. Was I offended a it when they released that studio practice video with 'here's your HT, kids!'? Yes, at first but quickly came to my senses and realized how stupid it was.

I mean I can understand it feeling like that given we're in the midst of the Trump presidency, but it's only been one year.
