UPDATE #3: Watch Linkin Park's emotional and heartbreaking performance of 'One More Light' in memory of their dear friend and former touring partner Chris Cornell.

    UPDATE #2:
Some of the songs were streamed on Jimmy Kimmel's Facebook page. The setlist has gone as follows:

    On-Air
    1. One More Light

    Off-Air
    2. Heavy
    3. Talking to Myself
    4. Battle Symphony
    5. Invisible
    6. Good Goodbye (shortened)
    7. Numb (w/ Numb/Encore intro/outro)
    8. In the End (w/ heavy audience participation)
UPDATE #1: While a half hour still remains until Jimmy Kimmel comes on for east coast viewers, the show tweeted that the band dedicated one of the songs they performed tonight to the late Chris Cornell. It was reported today that Cornell had passed away. It is possible that, for him, they played "One More Light."

    Original Post:

We are almost there, folks - just one more day until Linkin Park's 7th album, 'One More Light,' comes out! The band has kept the fans (as well as themselves) occupied with a number of live performances recently, including a secret pop-up show in Grand Central Station in New York on Tuesday and a brief tour in South America that concluded on Monday. The lead-up to One More Light continues, as the band will appear on Jimmy Kimmel! Live today in Los Angeles, CA.

This will be the fifth time that Linkin Park has performed on Jimmy Kimmel, with the past four times taking place in 2014, 2012, 2007, and 2003. Mike and Chester also joined Steve Aoki for a performance in November 2013, where they performed "A Light That Never Comes" (see below).

The last time the full band performed on Jimmy Kimmel was on June 19, 2014 to promote their last album, 'The Hunting Party.' The performance was relocated from the regular venue to the iHeartRadio Theater, as the band had performed a release show there the day before. On Kimmel's show, the band performed "Until It's Gone," "Wastelands," and "Guilty All the Same." You can view the band's performance of "Guilty All the Same" below.

Of course - the band has already performed a number of tracks off of the upcoming album, including singles "Heavy," and "Good Goodbye," as well as "Battle Symphony," "Invisible," "Talking to Myself," and title track "One More Light." Following the trend of other Linkin Park performances on late night television, it's likely the band will stick to the new singles - but there's always a possibility that the band will premiere another new track! At the very least, it would be nice for us to see an HD performance for any of the tracks, since as of now we've only got the band's performance of "Heavy" with Kiiara back in February on The Late Late Show with James Corden (see below) - which was excellent.

The band will follow up tonight's performance on Jimmy Kimmel with a release show for the album in Las Vegas tomorrow.

Note: This post will be updated to include the setlist and any available video performances of the concert.

What do you think the band will perform on the show? Any tracks you're particularly eager to hear? Will any of you be at the concert? Let us know in our forums!

    Like authentic hip-hop and rock,
'Til pop and radio and record companies killed me

That song is still fucking stellar. Anyways, Looking forward to the live performances. I need the full HD version of TTM and OML.

Question: since the band is premiering 'Sorry For Now' with Zane Lowe does that mean I will get it too as part of my pre-order?

As someone who lost his best friend 5 years ago, this performance made me tear up. You can really see Chester struggling to sing the song as it goes on and you can see his hurt. I understand what that pain feels like and these lyrics are some of my favorite lyrics that Linkin Park ever does.

I don't cry much. In fact, I would never cry before the accident in 2012. But that performance made me shed tears man. Music itself never makes me cry and that is what made this performance one I will never forget because it's the first time I teared up watching a live performance of a song.

For detractors who have tried to say with a straight face that the album One More Light is shallow, I submit that performance as proof they have absolutely zero idea what the fuck they're talking about.

I wasn't prepared for such an emotional performance. The moment when Chester's voice cracked was heartbreaking. You can really see how much those new songs mean to them. They put their heart and soul into this record. Makes me appreciate it even more now.

Great performance I agree. While I like the new direction, I think it is interesting how in the live versions the "rock knob" gets turned up just a little. With the live drums and guitar some of the polish comes off these songs... and I don't think that's a bad thing?
