I like the album. I just wish some of the lyrics were better written. I mean the bass riff in Come on Over is so cool but the lyrics are just so uninteresting and cliche-ish. But I can look past that for the most parts.
Oh shit Hook Line and Sinker has been out for a month?! How did I miss this? Been wanting to hear that song for years now, lol. I thought Lights Out was okay but a bit too rough on the edges. Gonna hold off this newest one, but will definitely check out the album. Been a fan since the EP.
I'm definitely going to check out their new album. I've been a fan of them since 2014 when I listened to 'Out Of The Black'.
I really loved their first EP. The selftitled album was a bit of a let down, cause all the good songs were from the EP. And hearing these new songs don't convince me. I love the instrumentals, but the vocals are a kinda of let down to me. Still I can jam to Hook Line Sinker and Where Are You Know.
New album is out! The unreleased songs are the best! "Hole In Your Heart", "Look Like You Know" are fantastic.
Definitely digging this album. Sounds like a blast, fun, fast, exactly what you'd expect from Royal Blood. Doesn't really push any boundaries from what the first album set, but it's a very solid follow-up. What do you guys think if they took in a guitarist and/or a keyboardist?
Loving this album so far! I just wish they try to experiment more. Oh well, I can't blame them, I guess it isn't that easy for a band with only 2 members
I'd love to see that next album. I feel like they're done all the riff rock they can on these two albums, with only a bassist and drummer.
