4/5 Most relatable album in a looong time with some weaker moments but some really great highs. Halfway Right, Sharp Edges, Good Goodbye and Nobody Can Save Me are all incredible. And Sorry For Now.
2.5/5 As i already mentioned everywhere, its just not my style. Cant listen to it in full, need to skip atleast 4 times.
Dude, then just give a 4/5, it's the same exact score. I only did it this way because most critics will rate music, movies, games, etc. "x" stars out of 5. Not sure why you're so up in arms about rating stuff out of 5...
3.5/5, the first three released singles which make almost 1/3 of the album are also the weakest songs. I'm still not able to listen to OML in full, it's boring to me.
4.5 for me. Fantastic album and I agree the most relatable they've put out in a long time. Loses .5 for being too damn short. I could easily handle a couple more tracks, maybe another hip hop orientated one.
Think 3.5/5 or 7/10 for me. It's not their best but far from their worst. Sharp Edges, Halfway Right, Sorry For Now, Invisible, Talking To Myself, Nobody Can Save me are all really interesting tracks. The more I listen to them, the more elements I find in them. Doesn't necessarily mean they are all my new favorites. TTM, Invisible and SFN are definitely up there tho. Gotta give them credit for just constantly trying new things despite all the backlash they keep receiving. It's true that no other band will ever dare mess with their fan base so much in such a severe way especially after albums like MTM and ATS that received severe backlash when they were out.
4.5/5. An amazing album that I've really needed, and still a fun one to listen to compared to how tired I was with LIVING THINGS and THP after a while. Loses half a point for me due to it being short, but I'll take it. Definitely my 3rd favorite LP album behind MTM at 2nd and ATS at 1st.
Definitely a 4,5/5 for me. Third best to date considering how I like the songs now and how frequently I still play those albums.
The lyrics are relatable to me in someway not more than HT, but the sound is God awful, cheesy pop beats. 1 out of 5 for me.
3.5/5 Best vocal performances by far, best lyrics imo (more personal and less figurative). Melodic content is just more elegant, beautiful and tasteful than usual for LP. Flaws are that it doesn't have much replay value - I don't feel a need to listen to it more than once a week or so. Also not a very complex album musically - but that's not what people come to Lp for anyway. I myself don't listen to a lot of complex music, even if it's instrumental.
Very late reply to this quote but I hate the 10/10 system these days too. Just said 8/10 to participate in the thread.
