Already preordered! It will be shipped at 15 December. Im so proud of these guys that they handle this really professional and keep with the fans connected. A DVD/Bluray from the honour show would be more personal but Im already happy that they manage to run and share this unforgetable show on YouTube.
I'll have to buy this next month just to listen to the extended LOATR instead of poor and compressed recordings on YouTube. I wish "Waiting for the End" was included as well as this being on a video format, but I shouldn't nitpick something like this. These are among the last live performances from Chester, so it'll be nice to hear them properly recorded.
I've never pre-ordered an album before. That changed with this release. I ended up paying more than I normally would for an album due to tax and shipping (18 bucks), but I really don't care. It wasn't even a moment of hesitation to order this when it was announced. I'll be happy to support these boys in anything.
OMG ! me2 ..... It's driving me crazy all this.... I MISS someone that have never met.... THIS IS CRAZY ... that FEELING......
My main gripe with this is that theres no DVD. Tbh I am not the biggest fan of audio only live releases (regardless of artist). And the "Trailer" they put up shows that they have some amazing footage. I'll still buy it though
Really don't understand how people can dislike this album cover enough to feel the need to voice that opinion... maybe it's just me, but I think it lacks tact to really criticize anything of that nature at this time. Maybe I might understand if they despised it, and I'm not seeing anything to despise. Maybe wording like "I feel like the cover image could've been something more impactful" rather than "That's a bad cover". I admit I'm overly sensitive right now, but I still don't appreciate that. I would have preferred if the entire track listing was just Linkin Park, so not any knock to Stormzy, but I would've preferred Good Goodbye featuring him wasn't there for that reason and that reason alone... (why can't things be worded like this...)...anyway... The cover is the image used on the tour that this live CD is using material from. That not a good enough reason to use this image? All I care is that Chester is in it, and he is. Ask the other four members if they mind that they're not on it. I bet you they're genuinely alright with it. I was fortunate to be able to attend the tribute show and as much as there's a part of me that would like that immortalized in CD/DVD format, there's also a big part of me that feels it's more appropriate not to. I would actually say my preference might even lean towards them not releasing something like that.
Yeah it's the photo that was used in a lot of the tour promos. It also happens to be a photo from the Hunting Party tour 2-3 years ago. Mike is featured way more prominently than Chester in it, there's a random security guard with half a head in it that's super distracting...it's fine as a generic live photo for promotional purposes. For an album cover on a release that's intended to honor Chester, it falls waaaaaaay short. Particularly when this now-iconic photo is a thing:
I agree. The Amsterdam show picture would have been so much more fitting. (and not just because I was there )
