As some of you may already know, in addition to being the owner of LPAssociation I am also the owner of AltWire, an online music blog that has ran some pretty awesome features and interviews with some big names and artists over the last few years. We are hoping to find people who are passionate about music, and who are looking to become part of a ambitious team that's looking to take AltWire to new levels in 2018! Writers would have the options of being able to gain press entry to concerts, and interview their favorite bands as well as get an opportunity to hear music before it's release legally. That seems kind ainteresting and i would be open minded to try it atleast, but i have a little bit stress in the moment (Exams are coming soon, urgh). But if you want, i could try my best and help a little bit. You deserve it, for all the people they know each other because of you and LPA. But as i said, not now, but at the end of February i could do whatever you want me to do. When the time is right, i will contact you on AW. Guess i just have to improve my english a little bit, haha.
I actually did write a review to submit to you before but unfortunately the data was lost before I remembered to send it. I guess I'll try to write something else soon. I tried to be a writer in the early days and wasn't very attentive to it back then. I wouldn't mind trying again for album reviews, I would just need to find time to do it.
Wouldn't mind giving you a try on the site, if you're willing to commit to at least two stories a week. Negative. Just decent writing skills, and an openness to doing 2 stories a week and occasionally being offered a news story/assignment to post.
I'd certainly be interested. I live in the UK so that may help in terms of having more staff spread around the globe. I'm particularly interested in Electronic and Hip-Hop and I note the majority of the site is currently Alt-Rock, Indie, Alt-Pop oriented. So hopefully could add a new element to the mix. I used to do live event photography work and could easily pick that up again if the site needs images (artists i've worked with have included bands with no.1 albums). I'll work on an article and send it your way. I don't want to just do a fake one because it'll seem forced. Rather ensure the passion comes across in the writing. Please PM me any further details.
