For me it’s Faint primarily because of that solo Brad adds at the end. Seriously, I cringe when I hear that. It’s almost Lil’ Wayne level of bad.
Was always only disappointed with LITE live. Doesn’t sound as fierce as it does on the album. It’s not bad by any means though. For me, they never really ruined any songs in a live performance - even the songs I dislike.
Yeah that song. I also don’t like how the drums sound flat or generic in the live version of Crawling. Don’t know how to explain it. The claps or whatever they use live to replace the snare in the album version is really weak.
I don’t get why they never played it live. Vocally, it was less demanding than Lost in the Echo. Instrumentally, it’s not demanding at all.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Battle Symphony yet lol. They've performed it awfully bad, especially the intro.
I actually really liked this one live, I have no idea why. Except when Mike kept shouting 'HEY! HEY!' HEY!' really loudly over everything.
"Battle Symphony" live sounds a lot worse than a studio version. I love the mix of this song on the album, it sounds beautiful and I feel like the live version is "too dirty", actually I don't know how to explain it properly. Also they messed up the intro really often. Actually I don't like how "Victimized" sounds live - Chester's screams were really bad there. The mix with "QWERTY" was interesting but in reality it sounded not that good. Also I didn't see anybody mentioning "In My Remains". I think that the band had problems with playing tracks from "Living Things" live. This album is really electronic, there are many different sounds from synths, etc. and it somehow sounded a lot worse than on the album. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks like that. "In My Remains" sounded flat and strange during shows.
Burning In The Skies. Great song on the album, but boring af live. Glad the didnt play it that often.
CASTLE OF GLASS is the only decent song played live from LT (both studio version and experience version).
Yeah Wretches and Kings didn't sound like it hit that hard. But also, LGM never impressed me until I saw it in-person, where it absolutely blew me away. So I don't feel right saying what did or didn't sound good having not been there for a lot of them. I didn't think Until it's gone was that great either but was also blown away by it in person.
The samples on WAK aren’t played on beat really, like they are on the album version. But I like Chester and Mike’s delivery on the live versions of the song.
