This is the only one of the 4 songs I wasn't feeling so far. But I only listened to it once. The album is so far away and we already have 4 songs, I think I'm going to lay back and wait now.
One of the best so far, but not nearly at the same level like the best stuff on Blurryface and Vessel imo.
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but a lot of the songs on Vessel really haven't aged well for me at all.
(sorry for the double post) I'm gonna need some more time to digest the album, but after first impressions... damn this album is awesome. I can already tell you that Neon Gravestones is my favorite song off the album and will probably high up on my top songs of the year.
Probably a hot take but: Arguably every TOP album has gotten worse than the last one and their self-titled album is still by far the best. A lot of the songs on Trench are very generic and really did nothing for me. This album is honestly average at best. On top of the lack of standout songs doesn't help either. Only The Hype was a standout song to me.
