I’m on chapter 3 and I hate how when you run out of stamina you don’t switch from running to walking like a normal person but become paralyzed and can’t move. also it’s the hardest game I’ve ever played by far.
If you're an achievement whore like me, you have to do some pretty insane things on the harder difficulties which genuinely didn't even feel rewarding Also too, there are some 'boss fight' type scenarios where it's actually been shown that if you don't have enough/appropriate ammo/equipment, you legit can't progress, nor can you reload and re-enter due to the auto-saving kicking in at start of the fight. Genuine insanity IIRC, on the hardest difficulty, you get next to no ammo pickups throughout, you gotta go through with stealth kills and matches, i'm getting re-stressed out just thinking about it all again
I basically never have ammo. I might go back to game at some point but I think I’d rather start Alan Wake instead. I’ve been playing a lot of horror games this month. Thinking of playing Alan Wake and the original old school Doom 1-3 games next. Not sure what after that.
I'm playing through Half Life 1 for the first time, it's so fun, love the level design, I'm in Xen now though and that place is just suffering
@Gibs see there are others of me! I'm not the only one who'd play all the Halo games on LASO for the achieves
I got Cult of the Lamb when it launched. They’ve been updating it more than I expected, it has 2 player co-op now. My girlfriend and I have been digging into a new play through when the kid knocks out for the night. Fun little mixture of rogue-like and community manager, 10/10. Except on Switch, like we have it. That console seems to struggle with it.
Rating games I have played recently: The Evil Within- 3/10. Legitimately just resident evil but worse in every aspect. Couldn’t even finish the game. Beyond: Two Souls- 10/10. Might be a top 10 game I’ve ever played and might be the best story I’ve ever experienced in a videogame. Night Delivery- 2/10. Game has 0 save points and crashed so I lost all my progress. I never have games crash on my PC so it’s clearly poorly made. Especially not having save points is WILD. How Fish Is Made- 7/10. It’s tough testing this because it’s only a 30 minute short horror game but for what type of game it’s meant to Be it was enjoyable. Bad audio mixing though. Mouthwashing- 7/10. Disappointing as a horror game but good as a game. Also been playing recently: Pokémon Fire Red Kaizo Ironmon- Finally Beat it! Pokémon Emerald National Dex Kaizo Ironmon Phasmophobia PlateUp Valorant Backyard Baseball 2005 Single Player Games I’m Planning to Play Next: Alan Wake Detroit: Become Human Poppy Playtime
The first hour of Half Life Opposing Force is harder than the entirety of Half Life 1 At least it was less than 2 euro. I'll endure this.
I remember starting it up and being like "man they really throw you into this one" Still haven't finished it haha
Started Raft like three years ago and didn't get far. Restarted it a couple weeks ago with my two good friends and it's been fun. I am our weak link though, draining resources.
Rating games I have played recently: Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble- 9/10 Tomb Raider 2013- 9/10 Dead by Daylight- 8/10. (First time playing) Fortnite- 7/10. (First time playing) Demonologist- 7/10. Phasmophobia but worse. But still fun at times. (All on PC except Switch exclusive Monkey Ball) Also been playing recently: Poppy Playtime- Started it, on chapter 3, haven't been in the mood to finish it lately Pokémon Emerald National Dex Kaizo Ironmon Phasmophobia Valorant Counter-Strike 2 Halo Infinite Risk of Rain 2 Raft (revisiting the game after playing through it years ago) (All on PC) Attempted to play: Marvel Rivals- My game lagged every second of the match even with everything on low. Need a new graphics card. Single Player Games I’m Planning to Play Next: Alan Wake Recently Bought: PC: Rise of the Tomb Raider Shadow of the Tomb Raider Slime Rancher Layers of Fear Switch: Super Mario Party Jamboree
Interested in playing this Indiana Jones game, will probably wait to hear reception and for it to go on sale first. In the meantime, I'm playing Half-Life Alyx for the first time!
Rating games I have played recently: The Forest- 7/10 Sketchy's Contract- 8/10 Metaphor: ReFantazio- 8/10
