Premiere: Extremely High Quality Rip Of Qwerty [Live]!

I made a very small edit to it and uploaded it to yousendit.com. I just took out the japanese guy in the beginning and chester/mike saying "let's hear him say that again" or whatever they said, lol, it was getting annoying hearing that after every loop, lol

The first thing that came to mind when the song started was "Wow, there isn't an electronic beat or sample or anything!". It's pretty decent. I liked the verses, but Chester's part before the chorus sounds too much like Trivium or some such band, at least in my mind.

I mean you've got at the Hahninator's ftp 3 different versions of QWERTY. From 12, 13 and 15th of August.

I just answered this question at LPFuse, so I'll copy and paste what I said. One person said that it was from the 10th, which is what I originally thought, but we have discovered this recording is from 8-13 instead. When I get home, I can host it on my FTP for direct, fast downloads straight from LPA. You can link it to the homepage if you'd like to. I knew that the server it was originally on would run out of bandwidth Anyways, here's the post. I hope this answers everyone's questions.

No, it isn't from the 10th. I got the impression it was, but then WesleyBR from LPBR told me it was from the 13th. I didn't believe him AT ALL, but after 20-30 listens of it in a row vs. the other shows, then I believed it was from the 13th. The first clip we got on YouTube was from the 13th. It appears Mike says "get up" before he starts rapping. He actually says "feel that?!"

Go compare it to the recording we have from the 13th. Chester's scream is the same, and the "get up" isn't very clear. It's clear in this high quality rip, and Mike says feel that. Yeah, it's a dissapointment to me to find that it wasn't from the 10th but rather from the 13th, but it's true.

The high quality rip of QWERTY on LPA is indeed from 8-13-06

I'm still wondering where this came from. I mean, guitars at a live show just don't have clarity like that if you're standing in a crowd, no matter how good a recording device you have. What'd you do? Manage to get a roadie to record direct feeds from the mic's?

I'm interested what show was played on the 10th of August?

As I understand they played 3 shows on 12, 13 and 15. Did they play 4 shows in Japan, or I'm missing something?

 

After closely listening a few times... I must say, Linkin Park without all the prerecorded stuff in the background is SO much better. I really hope this is the direction they are going.

This is their best song as far as I'm concerned. I won't OFFICIALLY make that statement until I've heard an album version (if there even is one.) With all the popularity it's gaining, there's no doubt in my mind that they'll at least stick it on an LPU cd to increase sales.

 

Now...we need the lyrics, if anyone has em please email em to me or post it, prefure to post it.
