Yesterday I found all of the versions of It's Goin' Down and found out that Radio Edit & video version are the same.... So I suppose, that there is only 6 versions, not 7 as tasta said. I listened to all of the version and wrote down the exact lyrics of all of them. And when I finally got to the video I realised it is similar to the Radio Edit. It has one chorus cut out, Few times reapeted "It's Goin' Down" scratch nearly end also cut out and "Like this" in he end few times less then in the album original version.
The video version has a little bit longer intro than the radio edit, other than that they're the same.
Garage version of Esaul which was on Frat Party. Does it have lyrics of one of 3 versions of demo, or they differ from them?
The one on Frat Party has REALLY different lyrics from the other 3, but the audio quality makes it really hard to understand them all. I did a transcription of the lyrics for it a while ago though, it might still be in another thread somewhere but I'll post them here (they aren't perfect, but its' the best I could figure out): Writing with a head full of buckets of red And what I said still stuck in my head A thoroughbred can only be bred if it's Left in the land where they never come back Stepping on the thumbtack, you could never run from that No questions, rising above the horizon Smellin' the combustion I wanna collab with the power of my mind But I'm turning around with the pen, counting down time In the center of a day over this Seeing all my thoughts gettin' lost in the mist Realizing one not the size of the fist And the kill us and they kill 'em with a flick of the wrist I wanna live in another place Where no one can say that I lived for them (You'll see it's not meant to be for me) I wanna be in the energy Not with the enemy A place for my head The second I find the weapon of time It's stronger than a nuclear bomb Eternity a halfpipe Something that man can't right Can't fight horribly? Still be around as long as it's for me You ain't that, first you end all our plans So you can see the attraction of the payback Don't want me to say that? Playback the beatdown Gettin' lost in the chaos, tossin' it down Singing again to myself, a leg trip neck twitch All I do for a head full of hectic Check this, please don't leave me outside Adding to the panic in my confine (x2) I wanna live in another place Where no one can say that I lived for them (You'll see it's not meant to be for me) I wanna be in the energy Not with the enemy A place for my head Soon, the Aztec moon will heat my room, heal my wounds (x8) I wanna live in another place Where no one can say that I lived for them (You'll see it's not meant to be for me) I wanna be in the energy Not with the enemy A place for my head BURN! BURN! BURN! Singing again to myself, a leg trip neck twitch All I do for a head full of hectic Check this, please don't leave me outside Addict to the panic in my confine (x2)
There is a 1Stp Klosr Demo and One Step Closer (The Humble Brothers Remix). I thought they were the same. But the lyrics on your website differ. Where could I get 1Stp Klosr Demo? And by the way what's the difference between One Step Closer (Humble Brothers Remix) [extended version] One Step Closer (Humble Brothers Remix) [fm radio version] One Step Closer (Humble Brothers Remix) [lp version]. And which one of them is on the Frat Party?
1stp Klosr Demo = The one on Frat Party = One Step Closer (Humble Brothers Remix) (Extended Version). The FM Radio version is on LPFuse, it's a shortened version of the one on Frat Party. The LP Version is just the regular Hybrid Theory version of One Step Closer. So there's 3 different versions of 1stp Klosr: the one on Frat Party, the FM Radio version, and the final 1stp Klosr on Reanimation with Jon Davis in it.
Thanks for expaining that to me. Lyrics to which versions do you have on your web site (LPA) titled as 1Stp Klosr (Demo) and One Step Closer (The Humble Brothers Remix) which is in "Other" ? I suppose that second one is the One Step Closer (Humble Brothers Remix) (Extended Version). While the first one is .. which one is it??? It's just a words separated by / And what's the track length of each of the song? Cause I have a 1Stp Klosr (Demo), which is 6:13 and (Humble Bros. FM Radio) which is 3:12. Is that long (6:13) version from Frat Party?
Actually, I made a mistake, there are 4 versions of the song. The lyrics on LPA listed as "1stp Klosr (demo)" are actually from the 1stp Klosr Radio Edit. That one runs 3:57 long, it's a shortened version of the Reanimation version. The demo from Frat Party/Exteneded version is the 6:13 one, and the Humble Bros Remix (FM version) is 3:12. And then there's the regular Reanimation one, which is 5:46 or something like that.
Do you know where I could get lyrics for these tracks: Grey Daze – Commit Grey Daze – Come On Fort Minor – Tools Of the Trade Fort Minor – Kenji (Interview Version) DJ Cheapshot – Trade of The Tools Fort Minor: Sampler Mixtape - "Intro" (performed by DJ Cheapshot) Mike Shinoda & Rakaa - Dedicated/Freestyle
Hmm...I can't think of any websites with lyrics to those actually. Tools of the Trade was an FMM exclusive so I probably shouldn't put the lyrics up here, but I can try typing up the lyrics to the rest of those. Here's Kenji (Interview Version): (I'm not sure of the name Lacey towards the end, the accent plus the sound quality of the interviews makes it a little hard to make out, so I just guessed at the name.) "I was a kid in...I was a...baby and a young kid in camp." "As soon as the war broke out, uh, the FBI came and they took some people from San Pedro. They just come to the house and...you have to come. They just, you know, we're from FBI and you're one of the suspicious person." "They put them in horse stalls..." "They took Mr. Ni, they, people couldn't understand...why, why'd they have to take him, because he's just...an innocent, you know, laborer." "They put them in assembly areas, until, uh...they worked out the logistics to transport the people to their final relocation camp." "We, uh, they had, uh, assemblies enter." "What they did was they put straw on the, on the floor for bedding." "But all the Japanese have to go. Each family had a number, so they had their number on this, uh, alphabet. So they said we...you have to move out certain date. By, you know." "The barracks were like quads. They had four sections, so you could have four families in a row, there were no rooms. So, oh yeah, it was cramped and then, to get your privacy, we used to put up partitions, sheets. The walls were just boarded with tar paper." "I remember my husband said, oh, we're gonna stay 'til last. Then my husband died before they closed the camp, in the camp. Um, it was four kids, and uh, Lacey was born in camp. While I was there, in three years, I never went out of camp." "Before the war, my father uh, had a mercantile. It was very successful, but when we first got back from camp...uh, it was pretty, pretty bad. But, when we came back from camp, we were very poor. We used to, we used to use newspapers for wallpaper. What we ended up doing was, we, we daylabored. I remember going out and we'd pick grapes, worked on, you know, farms, to make a living."
That would be great, and I'll be very thankfull to you, if you'll put out the rest of the lyrics... Thanks for the interview version lyrics.....
While surfing the net, I found, you must probably know it, LPCollectors web site.... I looked at every single and album and found some interesting song, which I was wondering if they're available somewhere... Well the Pts.of.Athrty Radio Edit is the same version that's on the CD single. It has the beeps at the beginning that are at the end of Opening on the album, and the end of the track fades out before the transition into Enth e Nd. I don't have the Enth e Nd radio edit myself, but I'm guessing it has the repeating fade-in at the beginning and fades out at the end without it going into the phone call from Chali 2na. The OSC Rock Mix you should be able to find online, it's just OSC without the scratching between the "shut up" screams in the bridge. One Step Closer - USA Humble Brothers Remixes Internal Review CDR – One Step Closer (Humble Brothers Remix) [extended version] = the version on Frat Party One Step Closer (Humble Brothers Remix) [fm radio version] = The version LPFuse posted not long ago One Step Closer (Humble Brothers Remix) [lp version] = The album version from Hybrid Theory. The From the Inside Radio Edit is the same as the album version it just has a little bit more of the fade-in from the end of Breaking the Habit at the beginning. The Numb/Encore versions can all be found on iTunes. The DOYS/LFY and POA/99 Probs/OSC radio edits I'm not sure about, I think DOYS/LFY is just the censored version, and POA/99 Probs/OSC has a couple parts cut out to make it shorter, like the 1stp Klosr radio edit. As far as I know, the pre-final mixes of POA, With You, and By Myself are just slightly different mixes/demos of the final album versions.
Plaster & Mark Wakefield I have found a early demo of One Step Closer (Plaster), and it has Mark Wakefield as the vocalist. Can anyone please verify this? http://www.radioblogclub.com/open/107023/plaster/33 Plaster (Demo).mp3 Thanks.
That's a fake that's been going around FOREVER. All it is is the album version of One Step Closer, recorded through a microphone to make it sound crappy, and pitch shifted one full step lower. It's not real. In fact I wouldn't trust that page, there's a few fakes on there. Giving In for example, it's labeled as a live version, which it isn't, and Chester isn't in that song. And it has Karma Killer labeled as Chester, it's actually Cyclefly featuring Chester on backing vocals.
I've been told recently that 1stp Klosr Radio Edit (3:57), is fake..... That the only official versions of 1Stp Klosr are from the USA Humble Brothers Remixes Internal Review CDR... Is that true...?
No. The 3:57 version is a radio edit that came out after Reanimation, there's a recording of it actually ripped from a radio broadcast where they were playing a few Reanimation songs to hype up the album. The Internal Review CD-R was released in 2001, long before Reanimation was out. I don't know if it was LP or the radio station that edited the 3:57 version, but either way it got some airplay.
1. Is there official instrumental of Rock And Roll song by HBMS feat Mike and Chester and something like - One Step Closer Drums...? 2. DJ Lethal feat. Mike Shinoda - Freestyle (Album version) DJ Vice feat. Mike Shinoda - Freestyle (Remix) DJ Vice feat. Mike Shinoda - Freestyle (Demo) The same question... 4. Linkin Park feat. Chali 2na - 4 GT 10 (Fish Market version) - what's this?
