Yeah, I'm way too lonely, and it sucks. It's pretty much a normal thing though...almost all my friends are on this freakin' site

There's a bulletin similar to this that gets posted here and there that I thought I'd take the liberty of cleaning up and putting in my own two cents.

There are certain things that pertain to MySpace that get under everyone's skin, but this list isn't meant to be comprehensive. It's just a basic list of some of the things that can drive someone crazy when they're browsing MySpace at two in the morning.

And without further ado, here's the list:

Does it really matter if you're not on someone's top friends list? It's pretty stupid to pick a fight with a friend over your position in their top friends list just because you think you should be higher than someone else. If you keep it up, you won't be on their top friends list at all. So you should probably just quit your bitching. It's MySpace. Grow up.

To the people who have 1000 people on their "friends" list: become a terrorist and kill yourself and the thousand people on your friends list, because you're all clearly whores. MySpace isn't a popularity contest. You should probably only have people on your list you actually talk to. Don't add someone because you think they're "hawt." Add them because you hang out with them every day.

There's no such thing as a "MySpace tracker." Everyone who says it works is an idiot, because you're supposed to repost a bulletin saying it works to see if it actually works. And guess what? It never works. So all you're doing is wasting bulletin space with your stupid bulletins about things that don't actually work and never will. If you really want to know who's looking at your profile, become a stalker. Or better yet, read your comments.

Quit posting pictures that have the captions "I'm so ugly" or "I'm so fat." Shut up. If you actually thought that you wouldn't be posting the pictures in the first place. And if you do then you're probably really gross. Just do yourself (and us all) a favor and don't post any pictures in the first place. Then we won't have to listen to your self-loathing and you won't kill yourself if someone actually DOES think you're ugly.

No one cares about threats made over the Internet. If you're going to defend your girlfriend's honor, don't threaten the douchebag who's talking shit on her over MySpace. Confront him in real life, or she's going to leave you for someone with testicles. Honestly, don't act tough with a keyboard, unless you plan on bludgeoning someone to death with it. And that's unlikely since keyboards are expensive. So just shut up.

If you don't get comments, don't post 37 bulletins in a row asking for comments. Comments aren't charity, and you're not the Red Cross. So shut up and let people comment you at their own discretion. If you want people to comment you, be interesting instead of that fat kid in his mother's basement playing Dungeons and Dragons all day. Maybe you'll make a friend or three and then you can have that tournament you've always wanted before you go play in traffic one last time.

Back to the subject of pictures: stop with the angles. If you're fat, you're fat. Don't take awkwardly-angled pictures to make yourself look skinny. Be happy with who you are and maybe someone will like you for who you are. Don't trick someone into thinking you're a 10 when you're actually a 1. You won't get very far if you lie to people like that. Also, the angles make people dizzy.

Little 6th graders who look like sluts are the reason society is falling apart. If you're over 16 do your part to preserve the future by killing these whores before they get the chance to populate the planet with their illegitimate children who're probably going to be whores themselves. And while we're at it, let's just get rid of the rest of the whores, too. No one wants someone who's going to give it up in two days unless they're really desperate. So put some damn clothes on.

Stop posting your shitty poetry. No one cares that your dad didn't give you your allowance for the week because you put the puppy in the oven. Guess what? Don't be a dick and put animals in ovens and maybe your dad won't have to discipline you. On second thought, you should probably be in jail or hell for doing that in the first place. You don't deserve any money, let alone clothes or dignity. So stop complaining about your life unless it's actually worth complaining about.

Don't tell people stories in comments. It's irritating. If you've got an important story to tell someone, call them. If you don't know their number, harass everyone you know until you find it. You'll know who your real friends are if they give you the number and don't punch you in the mouth. Comments are meant to be short sentences, maybe one paragraph at the most. If you post a 14 page essay in someone's comment box, they're probably going to burn your house down the next time they're over, which will be never, since they probably already stopped being your friend.

If you open a bulletin and repost it because you think a maniacal clown with a chainsaw and vampire teeth is going to eat your mother's brain and fuck her corpse tonight at 1:11 AM, then you don't deserve any of the following: a) eyes; b) a brain; c) ears; d) a spine; e) to live. Just go far away and don't come back. And to the people who think a wish will come through because they read a story about some kid who lost his leg and then won the Olympics: jump in front of a Boeing 757. Figure out a way.

Don't troll around on MySpace in the middle of the night, especially if you always complain about not getting comments. I've noticed that the people who complain most about not getting comments are the people who never GIVE comments. So maybe comments are like a charity: give and ye shall receive, or some shit. Just stop complaining if you're not going to ante up.
