I think ASP was in the usual Drop Db tuning, it really doesn't matter for that song because nothing in it is below the 5th fret.
post your tab of ASP! It sounds good in standard or drop d?!! but drop Db? And wtf drop C for what ive done! They are going for a lighter sound, so its probably in standard or drop d.

These last sliding chords are VERY quiet, but they are there. While Guitars 2 and 3 play that, Guitar 1 comes back in and plays the intro again until the end of the song. Pretty sure it's 100% correct. There's a lot of synth/keyboard stuff during the heavy part that kinda sounds like guitar, but doing a vocal cut on the song reveals the actual guitar parts quite clearly.
I have a "Vocal Cut" preset on Cool Edit Pro 2.0 that removes the center channel from any song. Since vocals, bass, and a good portion of the drums are usually in the center channel, and guitars are usually panned left and right, The guitars become dominant in the remaining mix.

hey thanks alot! ill test it out. I dont have a complicated tuner to tune down to C but i know how to using harmonics. Ill give it a try. What was your amp settings at? or was it just same old same old metal? some one just did
like gain: 10, treble: 10 reverb: 3 bass:3 like that? it doesnt take long to figure out, you just need the key, tuning, amp settings and......knowledge of scales!! which brad seems to show now
oh it took maybe 10 minutes or less to figure out the solo, and i already knew the other 2 parts so it took like 15 minutes to tab
I'm no guitar player, but from this guitar tab, do you think it is easy to play/learn this by anybody or a experienced one?
So your saying that this song is not as simple as the previous LP songs to play. Because i've seen many newbie people at youtube that play lp songs and looks that they can learned it pretty fast, they have alot of mistakes though. So LP really took thier time on this new album. Not like meteora thatthey rushed it.
Is brad a good guitar player debate explains this. Power chords are powerful, but nubs pick them up really fast and from there...guitar debatage...
