He's just as good as Brad if you ask me. All the guitar and bass on Fort Minor material was Mike, Mike played guitar on Wth>You and P5hng Me A*wy on Reanimation, he played guitar on Standing in the Middle, he played guitar on Sold My Soul to Yo Mama, and he played guitar on Rock and Roll (Could Never Hip Hop Like This) Part 2 on the Handsome Boy Modeling school album.

He also may have played all the guitars on the studio version of It's Goin' Down, since Brad isn't listed anywhere in the credits.

    I agree with tasta.

Mike is a good guitar player. I don't think it's his true area of expertise, but he is good, I'd say. All of those songs that tasta listed, Mike did play guitar in, and he sounds great in them.

I also forgot one from that list, he did all the guitars and bass on his Enjoy the Silence remix as well.

He is, of course, no legend, but he's a good guitar player.

I think both Brad and Mike are good guitar players, but none of them has played complicated or difficult guitar parts so far, due to the nature of LP's music.
    Let's hope that changes

Mike's not one of the best out there, but there's no doubt that he's good. :)

On that evidence I'd say I prefer his playing to Brad's.

Mike could be seen playing a guitar in the Crawling Video and also plays it for some heavier songs such as Faint (during the chorus part) whether or not its live or recording we don't know. Because there's no such thing as a Mike guitar solo in Linkin Park or in nu metal we can't really actually tell.

yeah hes a good guitarist, even if the parts are simple that he plays, i would have a hard time writing them, and him and brad deserve credit for that :p

I was just referring to stuff he actually played on the studio recordings, lol. If you count stuff he plays on live, he plays guitar on Crawling, Pushing Me Away, P5hng Me A*wy, Somewhere I Belong, Easier to Run, Faint, From the Inside, and the Wish cover.

Michael Hedges, Buck Dharma, Ace Frehley, Eric Johnson, Johnny Winter, Joe Walsh, Eddie Hazel, Chris Cheney, Matt Bellamy? I know great guitar players too. I never said Mike was great, I just said he's about equal to Brad. I personally think Brad's just decent.
