New Linkin Park Album Is: OH SH*%!

    In a day that has been absolutely amazing for Linkin Park news, AOL Music has posted an entry in their Music News blog that explains that the new Linkin Park is nothing other than: "OH SH*%!"

    "We reported a couple of weeks ago that Linkin Park fans should expect big ... and very different things from their new album, 'Minutes to Midnight.' Well, today we got to listen to the entire album and we have two words for ya -- OH SH*%! Not only is this record the most melodic and diverse stuff they've ever written, it's also some of the best music they've ever recorded. It blew away all of our expectations and we've got no doubts that the band has another monster on their hands."

    In addition to this, the enthusiastic blogger went on to announce that Linkin Park are planning something rather huge for their AOL Music fans, and are looking for your (yes YOUR) ideas, on how to make it as special as possible!

    Also.. how do you go about giving AOL ideas about making something special if we don't know what "something" is? Are they referring to the upcoming AOL Sessions?

    OMG !!!! now THAT is amazing news.. can not wait...wow. i wana be the AOL ppl..n hear the album... dammit !

    those lucky aol bastards. man, i wish they would've posted this a little closer to the album release. this makes the anticipation levels rise like a million times more than it already is for me. i'm glad that it sounded good to everyone there. that makes me feel a little less worried about it then. too bad they couldn't confirm the track listing for us haha. or even the number of songs on it. cool stuff.

    I'm still a little nervous... AOL could just be slurping the WB Kool-aide. But my doubts are really slim compared to where they were a couple months ago.

    i'm in the same boat. when i first heard about the change in sound i thought, "oh no...WB is gonna change them up completely". but this makes me feel a bit better. i like the comments about it being "melodic" and "diverse". good words.
