Verse and New Chorus Preview of What I've Done!

I agree with what you've been saying.

While I think this is a huge music improvement, the lyrics have definitely not been impressing me. I've only heard a little bit, but anyone who says this is different than a Hybrid Theory or Meteora song is not being honest with themselves.

I'm letting everyone reading know that I absolutely love this song so far, and I think it's going to be one of my favorite Linkin Park songs for a long time, but the lyrics aren't anything to jump up and down about.

Seriously, everyone. It sounds like another song about wanting to fix a mistake from the past, and how many Linkin Park songs are about that? ... More than half? Mmmhmm.

 

Yeah, I think most of the regulars here are. Meteora was still really enjoyable for me though.

 

I'd have to disagree, if they shut down everyone would lose some of the hype. I personally like the wait, it gives you a little something to look forward to. Not to mention that we are getting new clips almost daily.

 

i hear ya. i love both for different reasons i guess. though yeah, HT is probably the better overall. there's just something about Meteora i always love though.

 

Me too. I think maybe it's the fact that the production sounds better to me? It's a lot cleaner sounding. .. But this isn't a thread about those two albums.. so I should probably stop talking.

Well, we've heard the last chorus, this chorus, a (possible) bridge, part of the verse, the transition from verse to chorus to verse.. we've actually heard quite a bit. From what we've heard now, we can just about piece together what the song is going to sound like.. that is, if the verse keeps going in the same pattern as in the snippet at the start of this thread.

I think it's funny how quickly everyone assumes people are fighting. It must just be the fact that you can't really know how it's supposed to come across.

well it's OK, it's probably going to be a hit and i will always love their older stuff

i've been a fan of LP for 7 years now and i always will be no matter how much they change their sound

but im kind of sad because old school LP it's gone forever...

^ It's not as good as my old compilations, because I had to replace the old chorus with the new one plus the verse, but it'll hold me over till April 2nd.
