Reminds me of Audioslave, they released Original Fire from their new album and it got the exact same response. Good but we expected better. Whoever said it's a good radio song, that it is. Very catchy, will probably receive TONS of radio play and build up the hype for the new CD.

Also, the song is different, but comparing to Breaking the Habit, Crawling, Numb, In The End, it isn't THAT far of a reach. Those happen to be some of my favorite songs and that's because they are a bit slower, more calm. The new sound is definitely still them, just put together differently.

Yeah it's very different but still LP in many respects. Good point Rube!

I like the tone of the song.

I hope Mike isn't too absent from the album, but for some reason I have a feeling he's not going to be as heavily featured as normal.

I definitely agree. I mean, What Ive Done sounds good, but i was expecting more raw and completely new and transitioned sounds from LP. I think that they picked this single to grasp our attention, because I mean, since some of you guys were a little disappointed with this song, I bet you are more intent to hear the whole album to see if it's what you were expecting. I personally think its a good song, but not as exciting as i expected. But I think the album holds surprises and exciting material that won't disappoint any excited fans.

There are still people hosting it on Youtube so if anyone who hasn't heard it yet wants to hear it then they need to do a search through Youtube very quickly because it seems that Warner doing a spring cleaning.

Anyway, I'm happy cause I'm sure I gave a big smile to a lot of lp fans in the world.

It's beyond me why Warner would request the song be taken down.

All it's doing is helping to hype the album further, even if it is a day before the actual release date. It's not like the full album's being leaked either.

Seems like they could get a good marketing buzz out of it but they refuse to let that happen.

Because they don't want a dime to be lost in sales of the single from ITunes.

They tried to sue us when we put Remember The Name up. It was messy.
