I'm satisfied with 12 tracks. Like some have said, some CD's have 16 or 17 tracks, and some of the songs just aren't needed. 12 will do fine.

I'm much more interested in the quality of the music. That final track really could be an interesting piece, with how much they've been hyping it.

One thing that just hit me as I was typing this: Remember how the band was saying that the style was like combining various types of music instead of just rap/rock? One of those was 80s rock.

U2 became huge in the 80s...could be a bit of an influence, even in the wardrobe.

12 songs aren't bad, because I guess I'll be 12 very good songs!!
Some albums have like 19 songs, but u know u gonna listen to only 3-6 songs that u like.

Let's hope that's not the case with MTM, I'd love to be able to enjoy each song on the album without being sick of it. I believe that out of all the albums I've heard from start to finish, Hybrid Theory still sticks as the one without any tracks that I dislike.

I dont mind the 12 track thing, doesn't bother me at all, I'm just concerned about how the whole album will sound, I don't want them to do a trivium and completly change there sound for a wider audience. Also I prefered LP's heavy songs so much more to there lighter songs, and this is sounding like a melodic album, which is worrying, what else is worrying is yeah mikes only rapping in 2 songs which is dissapointing cause thats another reason I love LP, for their unique style, but now I fear they are gonna sound just like any other average rock band today.

I don't know why people complaining about 12 tracks, everyone seemed really happy with qwerty, and that was just one song, which isn't even appearing on the new album..be happy with what we got~
