I went to Family Values 06 last summer to set up and move equipment for a few second stage bands and that tour was really great. Although that's a bit concieted of me since Deadsy is my favorite band and they were on the bill but nevertheless last summer was a great tour. I don't like this year's tour but I didn't get the opportunity to do "roadwork" on this summer's tour so it's not hurting me any.
Trivium were amazing when they came to London. Then a few weeks later they died in a terrible accident. Then some imposters who looked like the deceased band members started a band. By sheer coinsidence their name was Trivium. Their lead singer has been known to masterbate over James Hetfield when he sings.
True that, Big Day Out here was fucking awesome, especially as they closed with Pull Harder. I still can't help but laugh at Hellflame's post though
How true...I miss him playing guitar for korn...he was what made half of their sound...I mean...they're still cool...but...hearing the FV tour CD for 2006...I don't know...they just...didn't make the cut...
I don't like it how Korn got these completly talentless "mascots" to be some kind of member in their band. What was it? A bunny and a horse? I really really got pissed at Korn for doing that. So if I play the triangle, I can be in Korn? I mean I've been friends with these guys since 2002 and they are pulling some crazy stuff outta their ----es. If you were backstage at FV 06, then you would see how dum this bunny and horse guys are. They were both DRUNK the whole damn time, they insulted the road crew, and they have no respect for anyone. R.I.P Head, you will be missed.
Head was my best buddy in the day, he took me out a lot after shows and now he ignores the hell outta me and Jonathan is all "Oh well, he is a Christian after all."
I'd say that's a hella good line-up. The only band I've never really heard of is Hellyeah. Other than that, I LOVE all the others, they're my favorites! =)
the lineup is so-so. i dont like korn and i like flyleaf better than evanescense, i would rather see totally different bands there neways.. for me korn already hit the epitome of selling out a few years back..
At least Deftones sat it out this year. I swear they must follow me, everytime I see some band they are there playing too! Annnnnd Chino went off on tangents to me in the food line as I nodded and smiled polietly at FVT.
