And also, Dave Grohl is freaking awesome. Saw him live with Weezer and it was a great show, and he did a great job. He doesn't have as nice of a voice as Chester, but he has a "rock n' roll" voice and I think it work perfect for him and the Foo Fighters. He's definitely one of the better ones out there too. I would give Chester Bennington the edge though.

I think Chester has a much greater range than all of these vocalists mentioned. He screams his lungs out on songs like One Step Closer and Given Up, but most of these vocalists - in addition to screaming and rock based vocals - probably wouldn't be able to sings songs like Let Down and the like.

    Ah! sweet! more bonus tracks!

I pre-orderd "Minutes to Midnight - special edition" with HMV. Though surprizingly it was £15. I'm a little worried that it might be the normal one. The normal version on there though is £8.99.

I think it's hard to not at least respect chester for what he does...I mean...not many people can scream like he does...I mean...screaming isn't hard...it's making it sound good...that's hard...and he makes almost every live show worth watching just to hear him scream on songs like faint or APFMH

About the whole cursing thing, I honestly hate the beep, but very few artists use it anymore. I have the clean version of The Rising Tied and there's a lot more swearing on that album and I really don't mind the occasional silence. I prefer it to cursing. It's more of a religious belief than anything else. Still, I think there is some totally uncessary cussing on MTM, like in Hands Held High. He didn't have to say "Fuck that, I wanna see some fist pumping." The only time that it really doesn't bug me is on Bleed It Out when he's like "Going out of my fuckin mind!" I understand an occasional f bomb, but in Hands Held High and Given Up, they were totally uncessary.

Here's hoping maybe they put enough time to rewrite a couple lyrics, like on The Rising Tied, so that it's not just silence. But no matter what it is.....I know I'll still utterly enjoy this album. Can't wait :bounce:

How could you guys not put Matthew Bellamy of Muse in there. I love chester and if there was a list of top singers of our Generation he would most definitely have a spot in it, but Matt Bellamy would be much closer to the top of the list, if not at the top.

My favorite vocalist are ..Jon Davis, Kurt Cobain, and Chester! I think Jon Davis is the best all around vocalist of our time and kurt just has that voice that jolts through you and sends chills down your spine and chester has such a beautiful voice...just a great singer.
