I'm pretty psyched I'm going to this show, and I can't wait. I just wanted to get anyone else's opinions on the show...maybe your guesses as to what they'd play off the new CD?

I say it's only What I've Done because they don't want anything to leak. Possibly Given Up but I seriously doubt it.

I'm going to this show. Since it is one of their first headlining shows for the new album, I think that they're going to play more than 2 new songs. My one complaint is all of those bands performing, I only like a few of them.

This is getting better and better. I was originally going for LP and MCR, but Hawthorne Heights and Taking Back Sunday were just added :D This is going to be better than last year's, after all :D

EDIT: MCR has food poisoning and canceled the Friday night show, but hopefully they'll be there Saturday.

OMG the extended Faint was so the shit lol. It was cool how they said it was over and Joe came back out and started playing In The End lol.

BTW: They played 3 new songs, right? What I've Done, Given Up and something else?

EDIT: What was up with that "ten years is a long time" thing Mike did? That sounds like a break up is coming IMO. For those of you who didn't go, it went something like this.

Mike: This year will be ten years this band has been together. Ten years is a long time.

And he didn't follow it up with anything.

Hmm. I can see how it somewhat hints a break-up. But maybe he is just indicating how long it has been and how far they have come. I don't see LP splitting up for another few years. They have a few more albums in them to make and to break-up now is just disappointing.

The way I see it is late 2008 - Chester's solo album comes out and then around 2010 (I'll be 22 by then) their 4th album will come out.

    Just a prediction though.

EDIT: Found the 'Faint' extended on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wn4Isa0hco

they started off with osc...they did stuff off hybrid theory first, then they did a few from m2m like no more sorrow and given up...did a few from meteora. but yeh they closed out with faint extended for an encore. faint extended was sooo cool.

I forget what order they went, but here's a better list.

    One Step Closer
    Points of Authority
    Lying From You
    Runaway
    From the Inside
    Numb
    Papercut
    Given Up
    Don't Stay
    Somewhere I Belong
No More Sorrow? (not sure if this was the other M2M song)
    Pushing Me Away (piano)
    Breaking the Habit
    What I've Done

    In the End
    Crawling
    Faint

    Yea, something like that.

So that's what the concert was like from a distance lol. Does anyone have pics? I need to get mine developed, but I should have some good shots. I wasted my film during like the first 2 songs lol which sucks because I woulda had some really good ones of Chester screaming right at me lol.
