The Linkin Park Association has just received word from Mike Czech of the world famous radio show Skratch N' Sniff (best known for being the first to premiere DJ Lethal/Chester's "State of The Art") that he and his partner in crime; Malcolm, will be hosting two seperate special events, to hail in the release of Linkin Park's upcoming album "Minutes to Midnight". Having partnered up before for the release of State of The Art, our buddy Mike Czech wanted us to be the first to spread the news about this special event. Read below:

    "Hey all-

This is Mike Czech from SKRATCH N SNIFF - a weekly radio show now heard on close to 40 FM radio stations across the US in cities like San Diego, New York City, Atlanta, Dallas, Tampa, Cleveland, and many many more. You might remember us as the show that had that exclusive track of DJ Lethal f/ Chester that you guys helped us promote a while back.

Anyways, since the new LP album is coming out this week we decided do some sick mixes for our affiliate stations to run on Tuesday when the album drops and for our NEXT weekend's show we're doing a full hour of Linkin Park mixes!

The mix for Tuesday will be the "SKRATCH N SNIFF Minutes To Midnight LP Remix EP" which will feature 6 songs from the new album remixed SKRATCH N SNIFF style - some new beats added, some rap verses to compliment Chester, and a lot of other great stuff in the mix. We are offering it to all of our affiliate stations and we're recommending that they play it Tuesday night to help promote the new album. For a list of our affiliate stations check snsmix.com - maybe you guys could have your members email their local station and ask to make sure they are playing it and post the air times...

Then for the icing on the cake I am putting a FULL show of LP stuff together (the last set will be the mix that will be previewed on Tuesday) and I am taking stuff from all the albums, 12"s, singles, and guest appearances to make a blazing Linkin Park throwback mix!

Hope this is something you are interested in, please email me for more info and let me know if we can do anything else to help you guys... we can give you a shout out on the air during the weekend show if you want!

    Thanks again,
    Mike Czech
    SKRATCH N SNIFF"

We here at the Linkin Park Association will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available. For more information on the Skratch N' Sniff radio show please click here.

This sounds like a great idea!
maybe it'll turn out like Reanimation, where they originaly were going to make an EP, but in the end they did the whole album!!!

If they do more than 6 songs, I hope they put in some Meteora mixes in too.

I'd laugh so much if everyone prefered the remixes to the normal versions of the songs

Sounds like it'll be cool though.

I remember with the release of State of the Art that it was listenable on the internet. Is there a chance of that happening again?

when they mention adding rap verses in, do they mean shinoda has new verses on the mtm tracks, or are they just going to remix the tracks and add some of his verses from older songs in? The latter would be pretty lame... but brand new rhymes would make my year!
