Muse will be awesome. Doesn't seem like it fits in with Guitar Hero, but will kick ass nonetheless. Another batch of tracks for Guitar Hero Rocks the 80s was also announced: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar_Hero:_1980s_Edition
Muse on Guitar Hero?! Freaking sweet. Knight of Cydonia is a great choice, especially with the solo. Can you imagine "Stockholm Syndrome" on GH? Hahaha. "Paint It Black" is my fave Stones song too. Sweet.
Im liking the list so far. Paint it Black? Baracuda? I cant wait! Also, they have Tenacious D and Muse, which is great. I just want some MCR (The Black Parade) and some AFI (Post Art of Drowning). Actually, now that I think about it, it would be really cool if they had QWERTY as a bonus track. That would be pretty hard.
Apart from Smashing Pumpkins and Muse, I'm a bit disappointed to be honest. Then again, it IS only a partial list. I want to see some more MCR (yeah I've got the 360 version of GH2), Ascendancy-era Trivium, and maybe some Dragonforce just for those who REALLY want to torture themselves. YouTube "Dragonforce Guitar Hero 2" and you'll see what I mean
I'm surprised there hasn't been a NIN song on here yet. Perhaps Trent doesn't want to lease his song to the series? Then again, Trent is a huge video game fan AND he plays GH. "Wish" would be deadly. And the breakdown-to-end of "Burn" would be great. Haha. Edit: "Last" is a bonafide GH song. Perfect! Listen to it! Edit 2: Looks like someone already made a custom version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjkJ9M_RJoQ
It can be done. It just requires a modded PS2 and a method of hacking the game code. There's loads of custom song videos on Youtube.
Yeah I knew that, I meant like officially, without hacking. It seems like too much trouble with the hacking and all that.
I've done it, it really isn't too bad. A bit time consuming, but it's not difficult to do at all. The hardest part is having a PS2 that can play non-official discs. HDLoader FTW!
Three more tracks have been added to the Rock the 80's version. The tracks are: Only a Lad by Oingo Boingo, Balls to the Wall by Accept, and The Warrior by Scandal
HELL YEAH "CULT OF PERSONALITY"! The song that got me into rock. I was 5 I think when I first heard it :]
Now all we need is The Little things give you away on it..lol..VERY unlikely though..well..you never know..I mean Muse is on it right?
