I'm going to shock you all and say: Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad This album proves why she shouldn't be grouped in with the crap that's on the radio right now. Some songs, despite being built for a pop audience are well written and the album is overall a really good dance record with many diverse styles and sounds. Basically, unlike Gwen Stefani...Rihanna has taken the Dance Hall sound on this record, and actually did it right. Songs I recommend: "Umbrella (Ft. Jay Z)" <--- Be advised, Jay's part sucks, and she's the true gem in that track. "Don't Stop The Music" "Breakin' Dishes" "Shut Up And Drive" <---Nice Kelly Clarkson style rock track "Hate That I Love You (Feat. Neyo)". <---Strong lyrically for a pop track. I love this album. I truly do.
