Killswitch Engage's Alive or Just Breathing pretty much wrote the book on modern metalcore. That's definitely a good place to start

I consider Buckcherry to be the brown-eye of rock, so... what does that tell you?

Yeah, unfortunately so. I think they ran out of vocalists .

Which means I'd also suggest Parkway Drive (thanks Will, almost forgot about them).

I'd also agree with whoever suggested Shadows Fall, their new album, Threads of Life, is awesome.

If you want more singing based metalcore...

Killswitch Engage - The more recent the album, the more singing basically

As I Lay Dying - If you want singing, then download Confined, Through Struggle, The Darkest Nights, An Ocean Between Us and Forsaken

All That Remains - The Fall of Ideals album

    Bullet For My Valentine

Gotta suggest Parkway Drive as well, no clean vocals, but they're just damn brilliant.

Are you kidding me, anyone remember the intro to Become the Catalyst ?

Still, it is a damn brilliant album, and I'll definitely agree with you on Parkway Drive.

    Atreyu

    Haste The Day
    He Is Legend

I downloaded the fall of ideals by all the remains but i'm having trouble working any of the torrents for pressure the hinges by haste the day.

Even though metalcore is becoming overkill, Zao must be heard. Liberate or Where Blood And Fire Bring Rest, for a start. They wrote the book.

Two more All That Remains songs I would check out are from their cd before TFoI. Off of This Darkened Heart listen to Focus Shall Not Fail and The Deepest Gray, two excellent songs with good singy choruses.

I like some of their myspace stuff, you have any suggestions for what other songs I should listen to?
