Isn't it god given? EDIT: Nevermind... Anyway, back on topic: Why not just make a post your videos thread and people can upload the videos they have on their own youtube channels?...
Well, I do think that a YouTube team would be a good idea. Millions of people visit YouTube everyday, and Linkin Park is a very mainstream band. We could get a lot of publicity. There could be a YouTube thread, with videos posted by URL or HTML temporarily hosted on a Photobucket account. The YouTube team could view these, and if they like it, they will notifiy the user that it will be posted. There could be a new forum rule about not spamming the public Photobucket account. Or, we could form a YouTube group with various URLs, like many people have said. My favorite is a YouTube team... but we could also maybe get an LPAssociation MySpace as well...
Again, none of those suggestions answer what purpose an LPA YouTube account would serve. What videos do users expect to find on this said account, how would it properly represent the LPAssociation and why couldn't you host them yourself without an association (no pun intended) to the LPA? How would these videos relate to the YouTube community? By the way, around when LPA first announced the addition of YouTube tags, an "official" thread was created but eventually was forgotten. And skyclaw441, LPA does MySpace page.
Again... forgive me for my stupidness. I always do this crap at 1:00 in the morning... But, it could get a lot of extra visitors and publicity. Forgive me for that one...
Don't worry I appreciate the brainstorming. It shows our members are interested. But the issue here isn't how but why.
