The Warner Brother's song pack for Guitar Hero III which includes No More Sorrow is now available on the Xbox Marketplace for the 360 (the PS3 version is probably up too). The cost is 500 Microsoft points ($6.25 USD) Thanks to Alex for reporting the news! Here's a video of me playing it on medium difficulty for those of you who want to see it
Don't lie, you just wanted to show off your 1337 GH skillz, yo (I suck at it. I got it yesterday and beat it on easy -- 5 stared all but one -- but I'm horrid at medium. lol)
I was gonan say the same thing! I'd love to see what it's like on hard but I don't have the game for PS3. Expert: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuYC56d95oM
I did it on hard after uploading that and actually think I hit a higher percentage of notes And Expert doesn't look all that difficult either
Yeah, I just did it on expert and got 94%, 4 stars, 248,130 points (I kept screwing up on the star power notes so I didn't get much SP)
Ahhh, haven't done that one, but I know it was uber easy in hard. Out of the 3 tonight, No More Sorrow is the song that's giving me the most trouble in medium. I FCed the Mastodon and Used songs, I keep screwing up on that rapid succession of, I think it's the red and blue chord in NMS.
Saw a different version on YouTube already, but not bad. I guess? Eh, never played any of the Guitar Heroes, nor do I plan on it. *EDITZ* Is it me or does this guitar version in the chorus sound like the drum beat somewhat!?
I believe you are playing the backup guitar part (Mike) during the chorus, which has the same rhythm as the drums.
It switches back and forth between the 2 parts a lot throughout the song, just to give it a more "complete" feel. Basically it's how you would play the song in a band with only one guitar player. Brad and Mike play the same thing during the chorus though. I wonder if I could FC this on Expert on my first try if I had a 360?
I'm not going to lie, I've got no idea what "FC" stands for, and I play Guitar Hero all the time. Or maybe it's just going over my head.
FC=Full Combo It means that you get 100% on a song and didn't ever break your note streak (no extra strums or anything like that)
I have a PS2 as well. I'm actually kinda iffy on even getting GH3 at all, I've heard a lot of mixed reviews and just based on what I've seen, I'm not too big of a fan of what Neversoft did to the game. RedOctane/Harmonix had the formula perfect with GH2, in my opinion. Todd, do you happen to be on ScoreHero?
