Aisha, you're simply so <3 words cannot describe it=]!

 

I hope I don't sound like a sympathy grabber.

But this is my favourite picture of me at the moment. Here's the story:

I, Aisha Aki Ataka was born on the 1st of October 1991. My family used to live in apartments back then. Our front door neighbours, by coincidence were also expecting a baby. The girl was born a few hours after I was. Sarah was born on the 2nd October 1991.

However she was born with various maladies. She was blind, had hearing problems. Her whole family shifted to London due to this, where she can now make use of the facilities there, and study in a Braille School.

Today was the first time in a long time when I met her again. When I was small I thought she was much younger than I was because she never talked, never played with us, was always crying and her body was small. Later I understood.

Today she was touching my ears and said that she liked my earrings.

The lady with the girl in her lap is Sarah's mother, and the one with the beard next to Sarah is her father.

Sarah and I are wearing purple. By coincidence ofcourse.

 

Wow, Aishalove. I don't know what to say. I guess you think of that saying "a picture is worth ten thousand words" when looking at the photograph you just posted =].

Yeah, I usually don't wear them for nights out though I'd run out so I had to wear 'em. I'm very suprised that I didn't lose them to be honest 'cause it was such a crazy night... I ended up having a nap for about 15 minutes in the middle of the club and then a bouncer came over and was like "wakey wakey!!"
