All I know is, whoever decided to put the season premiere of LOST at the same time as the presidential debate between Hillary and Obama should be shot.

So how is this Obama lad doing? Has he won any more primaries or anything?

The presidential news seemed to die here 2 weeks into the campaign.

Yep, he's won 2 primaries. 3 if you want to count Nevada (which according to the media he didn't win, but he won more delegates. Yes, the system is fucked up)

Off topic but still related to the election....in one of my classes we're doing a group project all semester, and we all added each other on Facebook to make communication easier. I was looking over one of the guy's profile (because I was bored, not because I'm a stalker ) and it turns out he's gay. Fine by me, absolutely nothing wrong with that. But he's also supporting Ron Paul in this election.....WHAT THE FUCK? That defies all logic. Ron Paul is a homophobic, racist bigot who in no way supports equal rights for gays. That's like a KKK member supporting Barack Obama. What the hell, do people not actually do their research before supporting this idiot?

Ron Paul dropped out of the race a long time ago anyways. He's non-significant now.

Why can't America just fucking do it like Australia.

2 Leaders. 2 Parties. A bunch of insignificant cunts. And an epic battle of words between two obvious cunts to win over at least 51% of the nation. Over in a month or so. Brilliant.

No, he didn't drop out, but he's still non-significant. Always has been, always will be.

I know. I told her after she told me who she voted for that there's no way in hell he even has a chance. If you don't start out as a forerunner, your chances are slim at getting anything. Besides that, Ron Paul isn't electable.

Funny thing, like you mentioned earlier, she's a strong advocate of equal rights for gays.

    http://www.moveon.org

MoveOn has officially endorsed Barack Obama as their candidate. This is huge considering the millions of people who visit that site everyday. This could score Barack Obama some well needed media attention/votes come this Tuesday.

Well thats not too far fetched. I assume you have heard of the log cabin republicans. In any case, I will guess this person is a economic conservative. But I do get what you are saying about people (not) researching Ron Paul (or any candidate) before voting for/donating to him. The more I find out about Ron Paul (and the more I hear him speak), the less I like him.

Yeah our system is fucked up. I don't think we should have two presidents (its bad enough with one) but it's pretty fucked up when someone can win the popular vote and lose the election

Nah we only have one perosn who actually wins

What Cale meant is that during the election itself, theres 2 parties that have any real chance, and each party picks its own leader, and that's it, Just vote for one of the parties basically.

Sounds pretty black and white.

Oh well, its pretty much as fucked up as in Canada it is with our four federal parties. None of them really qualify to lead our nation at the moment.

Anyways I'm rooting for Obama even though I'm Canadian and not American. For some reason he just seems to strike at me with inspiration and change. Course I do have my little hate for Americans but whatever.
