Daft Punk performed? I might have to find their performance...

    Edit:
Paramore should've won "Best New Artist." Amy Winehouse is a joke.

I'm happy Lupe Fiasco won something <3

Edit: @Will; Paramore shouldn't have even been eligable for "Best New Artist" considering how long they've been around

Yeah. But you know the people behind the Grammy Awards don't actually look to see how long an artist has been around.

Nas so deserved the best rap album award. Graduation was good but Hip-Hop Is Dead was just too good.

Glad the Foos, Lupe Fiasco, Bright Eyes, ...

Kanye West should've gotten Best Rap Song, not the Album, even though he did get best rap song anyways.

Surprised to see Barack Obama actually got a grammy!

Arcade Fire should've won against The White Stripes, though, in my opinion.

    Love won too.

OMFGZ LINCOLIN PARK DIDNT WIN A GRAMMYZ?

In all seriousness, I think Umbrella should have won Record of the Year.

    It's for the best.

Remember, the "Best New Artist" award is usually cursed.

The Grammys are so out of touch with the culture that it's not even funny.

I'm tired of Kanye West winning all the rap Grammys. There are a lot more talented emcees than Kanye, who released better albums/tracks this year.

    Agreed.

Also, how is White Stripes alternative? They should have been in rock.

Im dissapointed that MCR and The Killers werent nominated.

Supposedly, winning the "Best New Artist" award is considered by many to be a curse, as several award winners never have been able to duplicate the success they received in their debut year. It hasn't really happened as of late though.

To be honest, I think it's not so much the fact that they can't "duplicate" their success so much as it's the fact that an artist's fans aren't willing to part with the first thing they heard from a band, and are therefore more likely to not like anything they put out after their debut... if that made any sense. But I know what you mean.
