I don't understand, are you having issues with the FLAC file or the MP3 file?

If it's the flac, just download the mp3 and it'll work.

It's not the source of the file, it's his computer.

My only suggestion is that he's trying to play a FLAC file and his software can't handle it, or the file is corrupted on his system.

Re-download the MP3 file and try again. He's the only one out of some 5000 or so people who have had a problem.

Just a suggestion, maybe the download "finished" but did not actually download the full file from the source.
    Maybe check the length.

I said this on LPFuse and I'll post it here in a broader sense: Thanks to all involved with the release of Plaster.

To those involved, is there any indication about the 4 mixes (as Plaster was 1 of 4) being either all OSC demos or could the others 3 be different/not OSC songs?

MP3 files ALWAYS work on my computer..music plays, but for some reason, this song wont..what is FLAC? Does it require another program to download? my computer cant take much more of downloading, lol. Is the real song on P2P networks, or just the fake one u mentioned?

Mac, there's both a FLAC and mp3 version of the song in the first post. Please read the first post closer.

The reason the flac won't play is due to the fact its a special format that not all music programs can play. It stands for (if I'm not mistaken) Full Lossless Audio Copy, which means its basically as close to the CD source as you can get, and thus literally uncompressed. Crystal clear.

With an mp3, even at 320kbps (which is what we have for the mp3 link on the first page of this thread), the song itself is still compressed, so even if it sounds clear, it's not the absolute clearest it could be if you get my drift.

However, most normal people who are not audiophiles like myself will not notice the difference, so if Mp3 works for you, I suggest downloading that as you can't put a flac file on your IPod. Otherwise FLAC will play in Winamp.

Not true, I had problems with it. It still does not work on the Computer in the house that uses windows 2000. Not in any media player. It works on Suse linux though. (even though I'm not really suppose to have mp3 support enabled..)

As Mark said, it's not a problem with the file.
