I've never heard of Windows 2000 being unable to play mp3 files.

Are you SURE you're choosing the second link and not the first? I'm not doubting you, I'm just saying this is incredibly strange that Windows 2000 would not allow you (under any circumstances) to play the mp3 file since Windows Media Player has built in mp3 support.

I know it's strange. I'm 100% positive that it's the MP3 file I downloaded, but since it works on Linux in Amarok, I know for a fact it is not the file but my computer. I don't know what causes it, but I know that it doesn't work. On any case, the only reason I use the Windows 2000 machine is for internet. I use Linux for anything else basicly so I don't really care if I doesn't work in Windows. I was just pointing out that it wouldn't work for me under that system. Meh

Odd, sorry to hear that bro. Perhaps back up all your files on the WIN2K PC and format it, reinstalling XP in it's place?

I know that Windows 2000/ME was a piece of shit that crashed all the time. XP wasn't exactly much better but it was more stable, and it doesn't have the 'compatibility issues' that Vista users have experienced since release.

Well the Computer that has Windows 2000 on it is not mine so I can't format it. It's my moms and well it works fine for what she wants it for. lol

Kudos to whom ever found this and kudos to to this site for posting this.

I really liked this version. I actually wish a lot of the elements in this version were in the final version. Like, the echoed "shut up"s and the intro to this version. I was actually thinking about what some of those elements that were in this version would sound like in some of Linkin Parks songs and this version proved to me they would really work well.

Looking forward to LP's next album! :D
