    I'm highly anticipating Arsenal/Liverpool 3 times in a row.

My idea of hell would be watching England play over and over again. It's torture.

Carrick needs to play. Rooney shouldn't be leading the line. David "Calamity" James suffers from big fish in small pond syndrome. He can't produce it at the highest level of the game.

In fairness I don't think there was anything James could do. Anelka was just too fast for him and the defence went to sleep. Not his fault I don't think.

The whole game was horrid. France won't go far if they play like that at the european championship. They're in a difficult group so they won't be able to make any mistake, and they've always had difficulties during elimination games.
But as long as the Netherlands go on, I'll be happy.

Perhaps. I was half asleep watching it but I remember it looking awfully clumsy.

Just watched the highlights. Terry was asleep at the wheel. Mostly his fault although what top class goal keeper goes to scoop a 50/50 ball up like that?

He can do it for United 'cause he has plenty of support from Tevez, Nani and Ronaldo.

But also because we play football on the pitch, not in the clouds. That is perhaps England's achilles heel.

This isn't anything to do with England v France but if I see one more person who thinks Sorensen should replace Carson, as opposed to Taylor, I will have lost all faith in humanity.

I forgot Sorensen even existed. How come he's not first choice anymore?

He was injured at the start of the season, then Carson came in, then he started moaning about how he wasn't first choice anymore despite, at that point at least, Carson being in better form than Sorensen had been for at least two years.

I think it's fair to say that Sorensen is word class at shot stopping but useless when it comes to pretty much everything else. Carson looked much better to begin with, but since he played for England his head's been full of broken biscuits. Taylor hasn't done much wrong when he's played.

Fucking great, Sagna's out for the next 3 weeks and will miss the 3 games with Liverpool and could even miss the game against United.

You'd better be all red and yellow
And don't let Paris win. Maybe they'll lose the final and go down to the second division.
