Welcome Home - Coheed & Cambria I admit. I wasn't a fan of Coheed. But when I heard this song it made me see that these guys are actually pretty damn good.. The song is epic. I don't care what anyone says.
I don't mean to be a dick but every time you mention My Chemical Romance you go on the defensive before anyone's said anything like someone's going to slag you off for it.
The Book of Heavy Metal - Dream Evil I bought the Dream Evil's CD "The Book of Heavy Metal" and the song was the first song. Not expecting anything, when I put the CD into my CD player and the very first thing you hear is the singer, Niklas Isfeldt, yell at the top of his lungs, "METAAAAAAAAAAAAAL," in Bruce Dickinson fashion, it blew me away.
Mute Math - Noticed Nas - The Message Fort Minor - Believe Me Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust Jedi Mind Tricks - Uncommon Valor (A Vietnam Story) (feat. The Rugged Man)* *A must listen for everyone! Even metalheads
Dragonforce - most of them. Dream theater- Most of them, espcially their long songs + instrumentals! Devildriver - I dreamed I died Dethklok - Yeah their a TV band but shit, their album was instant favorite.

Finch // What It Is To Burn 30 Seconds To Mars // Buddha For Mary 30 Seconds To Mars // From Yesterday AFI // The Leaving Song Pt. II Muse // Knights of Cydonia etc..
Oblivion Dust - Crazy Dir en Grey - Ain't Afraid to Die Ellegarden - Yubiwa MUCC - Ryusei The Back Horn - Ame Blink 182 - Stay Together For The Kids Green Day - When I come around Green Day - Jesus of Surburbia Green Day - Home Coming Pink Floyd - I Wish You Were Here Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb
Jay Z - Dynasty Intro Three minutes of genius. The best part is that this whole song is a freestyle. Jay went in the recording studio with no pen or paper and thought of every word on the top of his head. One cut only. Chamillionaire - The Ultimate Victory No choruses featured in this song. The beat is amazing and Cham just destorys it. This song is very motovational too. It sucks that nobody gives Cham a chance because they take a glance at his name and automaticially think he just raps about money. That is not true at all. He is one of the most talented rappers out today. Nas - N.Y. State of Mind Amazing song. Nas just goes crazy and doesn't stop. Kanye West - The Glory Don't ask why, I just thought this song was amazing when I first heard it. Lupe Fiasco - Free An extremely rare track to find. Probably my favorite Lupe song. Notorious B.I.G. - Juicy Everytime this song comes on I repeat every line. That's how good this song is. Considered a hip-hop classic by many.
That joint is hot! Btw, here's a few more Dead Prez - It's Bigger Than Hip-Hop Atmosphere - One Of A Kind Brother Ali - Forest Whitiker* Dr. Dre - Still D.R.E. (Classic beat) Immortal Technique - The Point of No Return * I literally stopped breathing, in awe, when I heard the lyrics for this song.
No, I definitely get what you're saying. I guess it's mainly just because I'm so used to getting shit for it elsewhere, that it's become sort of an automatic reaction. Even here, where as Ross says, Derek wears a Black Parade jacket
Against Me! - Baby, I'm an Anarchist Musically, not the best song I've ever heard. But lyrically perfect. The Faint - Take Me to the Hospital Made me want to get up and dance--and might I mention at the time I had mono? Catch 22 - Keasby Nights I would call it the definitive third wave ska song.
Wings Of A Butterfly - HIM Three words: opening guitar riff. Killing Loneliness - HIM Not only from the same artist, the same album! Amazing! I dunno what it was about this song, but right when that first note came on, I just went "wow. This is good." Cellphone's Dead - Beck Yeah, um, I have no clue why it hit me how it did, it just did.
Linkin Park - One Step Closer In Flames - My Sweet Shadow Blink 182 - Adam's Song Trivium - Pull Harder Mudvayne - Happy Cold - Just Got Wicked
Definitely Trivium's Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr. Protest the Hero's Blindfolds Aside, as well as Turn Soonest to the Sea.
linkin park - "leave out all the rest" my surprise when hearing that chorus for the first time is beyond words. lostprophets - "make a move" well, the chorus is big. ha.
