I'm trying to find the absolute best performances of LP songs so in this topic, post what you think is the best they've ever played that song. It would be really helpful if you have a video, but mp3's work too. Also, if they did remixes of their songs or whatever live, then that would be cool too. I guess I should show an example, this is the Petrified/Points Of Authority mix they did which sounded pretty awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFcLVDWm51I
High Voltage (Remix) was best performed at the London Docklands Arena in 2002.
2001* I've been compiling a list similar to this actually, for CD-burning purposes (Hybrid Theory/Meteora/MTM live), but I haven't quite finished it yet. Off the top of my head, the Atlanta 2007 performances of What I've Done and The Little Things Give You Away were fantastic, though I prefer listening to WID with the new 2008 intro.
That High Voltage vid is amazing. Mostly enjoying this one because I was there but I really love this version of My December. http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=vucu9mQaD3c I'd also put the new Fort Minor/Points Of Authority as some of the best. Paris 22/01/08 http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=3ts7CUDfqeo
A Place for My Head on Live in Texas was pretty good. Thought it was stupid it didn't make it on the CD.
I think that Bleed It Out from Projekt Revolution 07 at Auburn is the best performance. It does not have a drum solo, but I really like the intro and the extended outro.
Crawling live has always been weak to me because of Chester. But he really pulled it off at Madison Square Garden.
Hell yeah they were! My favorite LP show ever. APFMH and OSC at Mountain View 04 APFMH and OSC from Live In Texas APFMH from Cleveland 04 Papercut from Rock am Ring 04 Papercut from Lisbon 04 Forgotten (maybe) from Rock am Ring 01? TLTGYA, WID, and even Papercut from Atlanta 07 TLTGYA from Paris 07 NMS from Berlin 07 GU and SIB from Nagoya 07 Wish from Rock am Ring 04 High Voltage from Docklands 01 Pushing Me Away (Remix) from Tokyo 10.25.03 tons more lol. those are some EPIC ones though.
all ill be interested in will be the Meteora Live cd if you make one completely, that would pull me in
i like all the live songs from live in texas. those songs live were really good. there are bands out there that are good. but when they sing live they suck. and linkin park is NOT one of those bands. they are good live and on the c.ds.
audio quality-wise, though, thanks to that studio tweaking, "live in texas" owns. on topic, another good one is "in pieces" in los angeles from earlier this year ...
oh i wasnt talking about the C.D "live in texas" i looked up videos on youtube from live in texas. and i thought they were really good. i dont have that C.D....tho. and thanks i didnt know that they tweaked it in the studio. hmmm....
