Busta Rhymes Taps LP Collab For Single

    Billboard reports that Busta Rhymes has tapped his collaboration with Linkin Park as the first single from his forthcoming I'm Blessed album. The track, officially titled "We Made It", was produced by the band's own Mike Shinoda, along with hip-hop production team Cool & Dre. A video for the single was shot today in Los Angeles and will feature Mike and Chester.

    I'm Blessed hits shelves on June 17th.

    Can't be bad if Mike wrote it. Looking forward to the single as well as the album. Video should be interesting, too.

    You might also want to add that the video for the single is released come May.

    so ... is it the band that's featured? 'cause every report says "linkin park" is on the track ... :confused:

    This says only Mike and Chester, so I think BBB, Phi, Joe, and Rob got the shaft.

    Well teeechnically, if he produced, he will get a "written by" credit for the track. :p :lol:

    It says Mike and Chester will be in the video, but it says the collaboration was "with Linkin Park" and "the first time Busta has worked with a rock band," so I'm pretty sure the whole band collaborated on the recording.

    Also, note the June 17th release date. If the Mike/Ill Bill collab turns out to be true, that measn 2 LP rap collabs are coming out on the same day.

    mike posted an entry about this on mikeshinoda.com. :)

    he says he did some production and sung with chester on the hook, and that brad did some guitar work.

    Well the song, if it's the first single, will be out long before the album.

    I suppose that it's bad for the LPA and it's memebers... But if Warner didn't know who it was that leaked it..
