    OH MY GOD I LOVE OSX'S DISK UTILITY'S REPAIR FUNCTION!!!

    The file system on my media (music, movies, TV shows, *cough*porn*cough*) drive completely ate shit when I accidentally yanked the power cord without unmounting it and the repair utility repaired the file system!

    Although I think my hard drive is on the way out, so I'm copying what I can over to another hard drive. Bleh.
