IGN has posted video of gameplay from Guitar Hero World Tour featuring Linkin Park's "What I've Done", which should put to rest the confusion about what song will be included on the game's setlist. You can watch the gameplay video here, and then remark about how bad the vocals are. Thanks to RayMkII!
You think they'd bother showing a video with a better vocalist. I guess not. Looks kind of cool, but, I wish it seemed more complicated.
You do mean the person doing vocals, right? From what you can hear of the game the actual vocal track is the same as the album version. I guess people would still say those vocals are bad, but I digress.
According to the official xbox magazine (dunno which country tho), both In the End and What I've done are featured in GH World Tour. Here's the link from the french website where I saw this http://www.play3-live.com/news-ps3-30-chansons-devoilees-pour-guitar-hero-world-tour-9726.html
Ya the vocals are rpetty bad. Maybe there were conflicting reports because In the end could possibly be part of their DLC. Either way I have no interest in this game. Rock Band 2 all the way for me. I don't have room for 4 guitars 2 drum sets and multiple mics. The fact that rock band songs will work on rock band 2 make the game that much more enjoyable.
RB and GHWT instruments are compatible with each other. So I could buy both discs, keep my RB drums (or buy the RB2 drums separately), have my RB guitar, a GHWT guitar, and the RB mic and I'd have a fully-functional set-up.
How would the RB drums work with GH:WT if the GH drums have 5 pads and a pedal? Either way at the end of day the two games are similar and I will only have the time to play one of the games. RB is defintely the one to invest your money in because all the DLC and most songs from the 1st disc carry over. Plus Harmonix has done a far better job to this point than red octane.
You use 4 of the 5 pads for RB2 if you're using the GH:WT drums. Also, in my opinion, GH:WT has a much better setlist from what I've already seen so I would prefer getting that. If you want more songs (plus the songmaker mode which I'm looking forward to), then get GH:WT as well.
Ya, obviously it would be easy to use the GT:WT drums for RB2 but my question was how would you use the RB drums for GT:WT. The songmaker mode will be very flawed in my opinion. I mean how the hell can you make a sond with 5 pads and a pedal on the drums and with 5 buttons on a guitar. Not like in real life where you have a plethora of pitches and notes to paly to create music. How will GT:WT have more songs? RB2 already has all the DLC and most of the set list from the first game plus another 100 new songs on the RB2 disc. Then Harmonix is also releasing 20 songs to be downloaded for free shortly after the release.
theres also a clip of gameplay on youtube. where you see guitar drums and singing. i dunno if they're the same clip though, i didnt want to dowload the macromedia flash player or whatever
As from what I saw from the video...it looks pretty fun to play and (easy) but I cant tell but Im pretty sure this isn't played in expert mode.............is it?
it does look quite easy, but i dunno it just doesn't look that fun to me ..! the vocals dude is freakin horribel ..!!
GH:WT is going to be FAR superior compared to RB2. The song maker ALONE is deep enough that it can last you FOREVER, even w/o DLC. and i lol at you saying GH:WT not having DLC or not right off the bat. they already announced all this on E3. maybe you should have watched it/gotten your facts straight first? all in all it doesn't matter. in the end, i am just glad i can play REAL instruments. and then come and play these games with friends that are musically impaired
I've never played this game! It looks interesting..I'll try it out soon or later! The boy that does the vocals should stop now!!!!!!Sounds terrible!
