    That's absolutely stupid.

If I were Linkin Park, I would've played "One Step Closer" last, at any rate. That's not an opening song at all.

With the way they perform OSC now and regarding what is, as far as I know, their reasoning behind using it as their set opener, it works pretty well.

It has to be, its the 2nd track of Hybrid Theory! xD Besides, I'm not too keen on its extended outro. Faint's much better to end a show with IMO

    Anyway, regarding the DVD...

It's not bad. I'm not too keen on the title, and the setlists' ok, but as soon as I realized the tracklist was cut.... well, need I say more?

But I'll still buy it, though I hope the DVD as a load of excellent stuff on it to make it worth buying. To be honest, LIT wasn't that special, so in theory this should be better.

By the way does anyone know for definate if that tracklist is for the DVD, or CD or both? cause it might be similar to David Gilmour's Live in Gdask with the full set of songs on the CD rather than the DVD? *hopes I'm right*

In case anyone is curious and/or too lazy to compare to the LPLive setlist, these are the songs that are not on the DVD.

    03. Somewhere I Belong
    05. Papercut
    06. Points Of Authority
    07. Wake 2.0

I will assume Wake will be appended to the beginning of Given Up though, so only the first 3 songs.

I would also like to state my protest to this show being put on DVD as considering how many problems occurred during the show, there will probably be considerable amount of editing in terms of sound.

Also a lack of Reading My Eyes and other exciting elements that Milton Keynes lacked. Basically I'm just disappointed in what we have coming from this DVD. Especially since those 3 missing tracks will probably find their way to LPU8.0. Shame shame.

And if they jack up the price for a CD of the full show which is basically a repackaging of the DSP, I won't even both buying it.

Dont think Ill bother with this after looking at the setlist, and hearing they've missed songs out. Saying that I'm sure it will sell well

One Step Closer has the extended outro regardless of where it is in the setlist now. It had it at Milton Keynes.

I still think it's a little dumb to start playing what had been their closing song for the past seven years first. It's like playing an intro last. That's just my opinion though.

They obviously know it's still a great closing song, since they close with it about as often as they open with it. At this point in their career, they have more than one solid closing song, Bleed it Out works well as the last song just because of how popular it is as a live song and how they routinely extend it out to 8+ minutes in length. I'm not personally a fan of Faint closing, but I think that works a lot better than them closing with Breaking the Habit like they did in 2006.

I don't mind that they cut "Somewhere I Belong" and "Wake" (if they cut that) -- but that they cut "Papercut" and "Points Of Authority", like, I have a real problem with that. :ermm:
