Who remembers the time when the swear filter was on? Fucking good times.

 

I remember the fucking swear filter.

Who remembers the old LPA skin? The brown one.

 

Fuck that was epic. I remember actually sitting at my computer laughing out loud.

 

I remember people used to use all types of tricks to bypass it, too.

And hell, forget the brown skin, how many members remember LPA's first skin?!

 

Do people actually think it's that unlikely that someone (not necessarily Franny) could be friends with bands like Chiodos and The Fall Of Troy? It's not like they're Coldplay or Oasis.

The old swear filter was amazing. The one that substituted swear words for their literal meanings, I mean.

 

We're not saying it's impossible, more the fact he was just a dick about it.

 

And he had actually been caught red handed lying about other things, so it was probable he was lying about that too.

Anyway, theres a thread from SomethingAwful.com's forums from like 2005 where a bunch of rednecks killed a huge swarm of bee's, redneck style. I wish I could post the link the the thread of that random forum, because it is epic and I'm pretty sure someone here would remember seeing it, but I don't know if it's allowed.

I might just have taken certain posts the wrong way but people just seem to have baulked at the idea of any normal person knowing any band with a degree of popularity. I did say "not necessarily Franny". I am aware of how he had lied about how he'd been given advance copies of certain albums and so on

Speaking of Franny though, and more on topic, I go into hysterics every time I see that thread from a few years ago where he asked people for suggestions on what to name his child. I don't really know why.

Oh man, Franny.... He still IS an asshole. He has become hailed as the Cortez of the Circa (Survive) Boards. He denied to me about being on the LPA at all and said stuff like "Why the fuck would I register on some gay ass linkin park site, linkin park sucks, couldn't have been me, my pass got stolen way back when yadda yadda"
