I love Blink 182. Pretty Fly was the song that got me into music. I hope they make more songs like that.
Oh right, I wasn't sure haha. Sorry. In the context of their genre I do honestly think they're actually a pretty varied band as far as their lyrics are concerned though.
I think no matter how many of us have changed musical tastes since then, we all hold a special place in our hearts for Blink 182. I mean, considering what some of us listen to now it may seem out of place, but it's Blink 182. They were catchy, funny, and one of the bands of the generation, whether you liked them or not. I'll keep coming back for more as long as there's no forcing it. If they're comfortable with still creating music with each other, I'm perfectly fine and ready for the ride.
Those were two separate statements, that I like Blink and that Pretty Fly got me into music Yeah I was kidding but anyway, reading this thread I decided to give the old Blink a listen after a long time, and I'm amazed how much What's My Age Again applies to me these days
I know it was like: omgz mi sooo hardkorezzz coz mi lizten 2 blink 182!!! I hated those days now that I look back on them.

I hate Blink cos it reminds me severely of my omgz soo poplar t33nni3 boppi3 dayzz!! Yes the last part was deliberate.
So you hate Blink not because of what kind of music they make or who they are as people, but because they remind you of your own faults when you were younger? That's not a good reason to dislike a band.
Yes it is. It's a bad memory and I vow never be popular like I was back in highschool. It's like why I will never like a private school, bad memories of attending one.
